In accordance with Proclamation No. 90, which amends Proclamation No. 42, Bonifacio Day's observance in 2023 is shifted from November 30 to 𝑵𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝟐𝟕. This adjustment is due to November 30 falling on a Thursday in 2023, and to ensure observance, it now takes place on the closest Monday, November 27.

Consequently, November 27, 2023, is designated as a non-working holiday, while November 30 remains a regular working day.

Feast of Immaculate Conception I December 8
“Here am I, the servant of the Lord; let it be with me according to your word.” (Luke 1:38).
The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary breaks with the penitential simplicity of the Advent season to give us a chance to celebrate the Mother of God, through whom the incarnation of the Word of God was made possible. It celebrates her nature as a holy and sinless woman from the time of her conception, and Our Lady gives us a model of a life without sin in conformity with God’s will. As she is such an important figure in the Advent and Christmas seasons, the feast of her conception allows us to honor her as we prepare for the coming of her Son.
In the Gospel reading, the Angel Gabriel appears before Mary, first startling her and then encouraging her not to be afraid. He announces that she will bear the Son of God, and her cousin Elizabeth will also conceive a son. Mary, without hesitation, responds,
“Here am I, the servant of the Lord; let it be with me according to your word.” (Luke 1:38).
On December 8, we honor Mary, our Mother. The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception is a Catholic feast celebrating Mary's conception without sin. Even though this feast day occurs in the liturgical season of Advent, which prepares for the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Immaculate Conception refers to the conception of Mary in the womb of her mother, St. Anne.
The dogma of the Immaculate Conception asserts that "from the first moment of her conception, the Blessed Virgin Mary was, by the singular grace and privilege of Almighty God, and in view of the merits of Jesus Christ, Savior of Mankind, kept free from all stain of original sin."
