TINGNAN PAGBILAOINS: Dahil sa umiigting na banta ng volcanic activity ng Taal Volcano, naglabas si Secretary Sonny Angara ng memorandum kung saan binibigyan ang mga apektadong paaralan na magsuspindi ng klase kung hindi pa nag announce ang mga LGU nito.

Para sa learning continuity, ang DepEd ay nag-iinstruct na gumamit ng alternative learning modalities tulad ng modular at online learning upang maipagpatuloy pa rin ang pag-aaral sa public schools.

BALITA | Itinanghal na kampeon ang grupo mula Talipan National High School sa Madulang Sabayang Pagbigkas na patimpalak ngayong gabi sa Perez Park Capitol Grounds Lungsod ng Lucena.

Parte ang nasabing kompetisyon ng taunang pagdiriwang ng Niyogyugan Festival kung saan kinatawan ang mga mag-aaral ng Talipan NHS ng Unang Distrito ng Quezon.

Naiuwi ng koponan ang P40,000 matapos makuha ang unang pwesto. Samantala, naiuwi rin ni Karla Cosip ang P5,000 matapos makamit ang ikatlong puwesto sa Oration.

Naging mga tagapayo at tagapagsanay ng grupo sina Bb. Chona Reyes at Ivy Hicana, mga g**o sa Filipino kasama ang mga kinatawan mula Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Pagbilao na nagbigay ng suporta sa mga kalahok.

Due to damages brought about by Typhoon Aghon on schools and other parts of Pagbilao, classes in all levels public and private are suspended tomorrow, Monday, 27 May 2024.

This will allow us to conduct clearing and repair operations on campus and our respective homes.

While cancelation of scheduled activities will be on principal's discretion. Faculty members shall reschedule exams and other in-person activities accordingly.

ADVISORY

28 April 2024 - In view of the latest heat index forecast of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) and the announcement of a nationwide transport strike, all public schools nationwide shall implement ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES/DISTANCE LEARNING on April 29 and 30, 2024.

Likewise, teaching and non-teaching personnel in all public schools shall not be required to report to their respective stations.

However, activities organized by Regional and Schools Division Offices, such as Regional Athletic Association Meets and other division or school level programs, to be conducted on the aforementioned dates may push through as scheduled, provided that measures for the safety of all participants have been carefully considered.

Finally, private schools shall not be covered by this advisory but shall have the option to implement the same.

Due to the forecasted Heat Index of 42 degrees from MONDAY-TUESDAY April 29 and 30, to avoid possible health risk to public & private school learners, the public teaching and non-teaching staff, as the Mayor, I am SUSPENDING face to face classes TOMORROW in ALL LEVELS and ask the Dept of Education Schools Division PAGBILAO and Private School Administrators and higher education, to implement asynchronous or online classes as necessary.

In the course of the class suspension due to
health concerns, I expect that learners to be home and avoiding heat exposure and not to be outdoors doing activities risky to their health.
