In a concerted effort to strengthen the fight against illegal drugs, TESDA Zamboanga del Norte shared insights on its skills programs and scholarship initiatives during the event in support of the "Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan" or BIDA Program initiated by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) held on January 17, 2024.

The event, strategically aligned with the recently concluded Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections, aimed to ensure the continuity of the program's objectives and sustain the support of local officials in the ongoing battle against illegal drugs.

TESDA Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Director Omarkhayyam I. Dalagan highlighted the agency's commitment to providing skills development opportunities and scholarships to empower individuals and communities by equipping individuals with the necessary skills.

The Director also graciously received a token of appreciation from the Zamboanga del Norte Police Provincial Office (ZNPPO) in recognition of the agency's valuable support and its significant role in promoting a drug-free and empowered community.
