LEYECO V November 2023 Power Rate Update
The power rate for November 2023 increase from Php 11.7167 per kWh in October 2023 to Php 13.4652 per kWh in November 2023, resulting to an increase of Php 1.7485 per kWh in Residential. This increase in the rate is due to higher generation cost mainly from Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM) and increase in transmission charge due to higher transmission cost from NGCP.
This means that an additional P174.85 (exclusive of distribution vat) will be incurred in every 100 kwh consumption of Residential Type of Consumer.
On the other hand, LEYECO V is encouraging all eligible Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs), including beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) and other marginalized households, to apply for the lifeline rate program. This program guarantees continuous discounts on their electricity bills. The government has extended the full implementation of this program from September 2023 to January 2024, providing eligible consumers with more time to avail themselves of this beneficial offer.
LEYECO V also promotes energy efficiency and conservation measures among its Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs).
