Lunsod Lunsad: Gapo Music Lab is excited to start accepting applications for this year’s program.
We invite musicians based in Olongapo City, the Province of Zambales, and Dinalupihan, Hermosa, and Morong Bataan, of all backgrounds and genres, to apply! GML is designed to foster creativity, experimentation, and provide resources and mentorship to the selected artists.
Categories:
1. GML 2.0 (Young to Mid-Career Musicians Aged 17 and Above): For emerging and established artists who are looking to push boundaries, explore new directions, or complete a specific project;
2. Thunder Edition (Senior Musicians Aged 55 and Above): For experienced musicians who wish to reflect on their extensive careers, share their wealth of knowledge, or embark on new creative endeavors. (For bands, the majority of your members should be 55 years old and above)

Example: LUNSOD LUNSAD: GML [GML 2.0] [Juan dela Cruz] or LUNSOD LUNSAD: GML [THUNDER] [Juana dela Cruz]
Please include the following in your email:
1. Letter of Intent that states your name or name of your band, contact information, page, and a brief biography;
2. At least one 1-minute sample (1 verse and 1 hook) of an original song. Acapella is allowed;
3. Other supporting materials, such as written work (lyrics) or videos,
Deadline for submissions: 05 September 2024
Only successful applicants will be invited to the live auditions.
