Last December 6, the 𝐏𝐒𝐇𝐒-𝐌𝐑𝐂 𝐎𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐈𝐜𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐭 𝐮𝐩💡as a powerful symbol in the fight to end violence against women.

The display served as a reminder of commitment and dedication in creating a safer and inclusive world and ending violence against women.

Examinees, accompanied by their parents and guardians, flocked at Philippine Science High School - MIMAROPA Region Campus to take the National Competitive Examination (NCE) today, November 16, despite wind signals brought by Super Typhoon .

PISAY MRC is one of the testing centers in Romblon, while there are several testing centers conducting the examination across MIMAROPA.

Meanwhile, NCE for Marinduque province has been rescheduled to November 23, due to the inclement weather and anticipated effects of the typhoon.

Based on Tropical Cyclone Bulletin NR. 9, issued at 11:00 AM, DOST-PAGASA hoisted Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 over selected provinces in MIMAROPA: Romblon, northern portion of Oriental Mindoro, and Marinduque. PIA MIMAROPA reported that weather "remain sunny" in mentioned provinces, despite Signal No. 1 advisory. However, PAGASA advised residents to stay prepared for the weather conditions.

Malacañang has suspended work in government offices and classes at all levels tomorrow, October 25, in Luzon due to Severe Tropical Storm .

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council recommended the suspension due to persistent rainfall and strong winds in large areas of Luzon.

We, the 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, in collaboration with the 𝗡𝗦𝗦𝗔 of 𝗣𝗦𝗛𝗦-𝗜𝗥𝗖, and the entire 𝗣𝗦𝗛𝗦-𝗜𝗥𝗖, and the communities of other PSHS campuses is reaching out for your help. We are calling for donations to support the recovery of 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹-𝗕𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 and to provide aid to the community most affected by the disaster, as the latest typhoon, Kristine, has caused significant devastation.
The initiative, 𝗣𝗜𝗦𝗔𝗬𝗨𝗗𝗔, was originally launched by 𝗜𝗥𝗖 and we are expanding this effort across multiple campuses. Let’s extend 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 to those in need. Executive No. 25 S. 2024 (Office of the Governor) has extended the suspension of classes in all levels and work in government offices in the province of Romblon from October 23 (Wednesday) to October 24 (Thursday), due to Tropical Storm .

As of 5:00 PM today, Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 and Orange Rainfall Warning are in effect in the province. Flooding and landslides are expected in the area.

Classes at all levels (pre-school to college) in public and private schools in Odiongan are suspended, today, October 22 due to Tropical Storm .

Based on Tropical Cyclone Bulletin NR. 5 issued at 5:00 AM, Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 has been raised in Romblon.

is forecast to landfall over Isabela tomorrow evening and exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Friday, October 25.
