UNCONDITIONAL LOVE OF A PARENT - BREAKING THE CHAINS OF POVERTY

Remember your Children are not your Retirement Fund.
Be Financially Independent.. Do not RELY on your children.

Plan for your future and retirement and only have children that you can afford.

Your Children will help you if they really want to (unconditionally).
Do not pressure or give an obligation to your children a responsibility that you yourself are not able to establish.

Let your children have the life that they deserve and do not expect anything in return.

While our children can help us, it should be done voluntarily and not as an obligation. By then, our children will have their own families to look after. We owe it to ourselves to maintain our DIGNITY despite sickness and old age.

Remember
As children, you do it out of gratitude not obligation...
As parents, you receive with gratitude rather than entitlement...

Stop the cycle. Stop this toxic Filipino culture.

Isang lalake ang nagl¡tson ng isang malus0g na baka. At nung puwede na itong ihain ay tinawag niya ang kanyang bunsong kapatid na lalaki at sinabi: "Lumabas ka at puntahan mo ang ating mga kapitbahay at kaibigan, imbitahan para sa ating salo salo."

Lumabas ang kanyang kapatid.. at ito ang kanyang isinigaw...
"Mga kapit bahay, tuIungan ninyo kami! Nasusun0g ang aming tah4nan!"

At Dali-daling namang humang0s 'yung ibang nakarinig patungo sa bahay nila para tumuIong mag-apula sa sun0g. . . . . .Ang iba nama'y parang walang narinig at ang iba naman ay sadyang ayaw talagang tumuIong.

Nagtaka naman 'yung mga humang0s para tumulong dahil wala naman palang sun0g. Bagkus ay may handaan at may litson baka pa, kaya naman sila ay nagsika¡n at nagpakabus0g!

Napansin naman ng panganay na kapatid na wala man lang siyang kakilala sa mga naimbitahan kaya't tinanong niya ang kanyang nakababatang kapatid.
"Nasaan na ang mga kapitbahay at mga kaibigan natin?"
At siya ay sumagot at sinabi niya.
"Sum¡gaw ako ng tulong dahil nasusun0g ang ating tah4nan..."
Kuya, sila ang tunay na mga kasama o kaibigan natin, na handang tumuIong sa oras na tayo ay nangangailangan.

Lesson:
Maraming kaibigan na kilala ka lang sa oras na sila'y nangangailangan, pero kapag ikaw naman ang nangangailangan ay hindi mo na sila mahagiIap... ‎
