Our Story
An aspiring writer. A social media person. She loves to space out, to write, to read, to sing and to surf the net. She also loves chocolates and sweets, milk, ball pens, notebooks, papers, anime, and music.
A high school graduate from the Naga National High School, City of Naga, Cebu and is currently studying the discipline of Journalism at the University of San Jose-Recoletos, in Cebu City, Philippines
Among her brothers and sisters, she’s the only one who took a degree program far from computers, since her siblings took up Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology.
A member of a local church choir named “Mary’s Youth Chorus” (MYC) and serves as the group’s choir director. She is one of the vocalists of a singing quartet “Fourth Mix,” specializing in pop and R&B songs. A former member of the Naga National High School Choir for two years as Alto and the prestigious “University of the Visayas Chorale” for six months as Alto.
A former staff editor at “The Messenger,” Naga National High School’s official school publication. She was a staff writer/photographer at “The Purveyor.”
On 2017, she became the pioneering president of the Josenian Journalism Axis under the Department of Journalism and Communications, in the University of San Jose – Recoletos.
She took her internship at Cebu Daily News Digital in July 2018 and immediately worked as a correspondent until her graduation. She continued until June 2019. She wrote news stories on crime, police, disaster and sometimes on the local government units.
She currently lives at Lower Tabtuy, Tuyan, City of Naga, Cebu together with her parents and her siblings.
