Fr. Raul J. Bonoan, S.J. Hall

Fr. Bonoan is honored for reviving the Ateneo de Naga. At the time, the institution faced imminent closure, with dwindling funds and a decrease in enrollments. During his tenure, Bonoan engaged in fundraising initiatives; revised the curriculum (transforming it into one that addressed local needs, in particular, one that promoted Bikol culture); invested heavily in faculty development; improved facilities; and expanded educational programs by offering degrees in business and the sciences. He also worked closely with local government, serving as secretary-general of the Bikol Regional Development Summit, and maintained a close relationship with Naga City Mayor Jesse Robredo.

This building in the university campus is named after him.

The ADNU Minecraft Server is now accessible through different platforms. We can now play together using different devices that are compatible with the Bedrock Edition and Java Edition.

Here are some of the compatible platforms:

*Windows Mobile

How to connect using Bedrock Edition:
1. Server name: Minehut
2. Server address: bedrock.minehut.com
3. Port: 19132
4. After joining the lobby, type /join ADNU.

How to connect using Java Edition:
1. Press multiplayer and direct connect.
2. Server address: ADNU.minehut.GG
3. After joining the lobby, type /join ADNU.

WE WERE ATTACKED AGAIN! 🤬

Someone by the username of "Shintakata" went inside the server and started destroying everything he sets his eyes on.

He caused damage to almost all the buildings that we have made inside the server. Thankfully, we were able to perform a system rollback and undo the changes made within the 24-hour time frame.

This is the third time that we had been attacked.

PEACE POLE at ADNU ☮

DID YOU KNOW?
A Peace Pole is an internationally-recognized symbol of the hopes and dreams of the entire human family, standing vigil in silent prayer for peace on earth. Each Peace Pole bears the message "May Peace Prevail on Earth" in different languages on each of its four or six sides. There are estimated over 250,000 Peace Poles in every country in the world dedicated as monuments to peace.

Peace Pole at Ateneo de Naga University is located in front of Burns Hall. Belonging to Jesuits, it was planted by Mario, Sr. Shanti of Brahma Kumaris and Jean Llorin. It is being cared for by students.
