As the BS Entrepreneurship Program opens opportunities for the aspiring student entrepreneurs, we are thrilled to announce the BS Entrepreneurship Qualifying Interview for the program's waitlisted applicants for the 1st Semester of Academic Year 2024-2025. The program's Qualifying Interview will be held on June 26-27, 2024 from 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m at the Computer Laboratory 1 and 2 located at the 3rd floor of Multipurpose Building.

This procedure ensures that the BS Entrep Program will be tailored to those students who are most suitable and deserving of claiming a spot in the program, and who are passionate about embracing the entrepreneurial journey that awaits them. This certifies that through this process, the program and the institution maintain its high standards upon choosing the best candidates for the program.

Stay tuned for a message that will be sent to the registered mobile number of the student applicants, providing further information and guidance about the qualifying interview process.

Congratulations to the AzollaPro Team and its members, Lea Mae Barrameda, Rose Magdalyn Barreta, Lomirain Angel Navales, Kyle Flores, and Leonel Villaflor, for successfully graduating at the BEECALL TBI, along with the other startups, namely Dealzy, Finer, Salakot, and Alab Ideas. The awarding ceremony took place on June 18, 2024, at the Tiger's Café in Magsaysay Avenue, Naga City.

These 5 BSEntrep students, after 6 months of training and incubation for their startup, were able to make it through the program with their resilience, dedication, time management, and hard work. They were beyond grateful for their Design Thinking and BMC professor, Dr. Niño Martin P. Obrero, for introducing the group to business incubators such as BEECALL TBI. The BSEntrep community is proud of you!

This event aims to confer the presidency of Dr. Oliva and symbolize the start of a new era for the Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges and their constituents.

On its quest to find diamonds in the rough among the aspiring Entrep journalists, TheNICHE Publication recently concluded its Recruitment Orientation yesterday, June 18, 2024, via Google Meeting, which was attended by 27 BSEntrep students and spearheaded by the incumbent TheNICHE Editorial Board and Staff and TheNICHE Adviser, Ms. Ma. Anjelica N. Ampongan. This is part of the ongoing recruitment campaign for the official publication of the BS Entrepreneurship Program for the academic year 2024-2025.

Before the orientation ended, some of the Editorial Board and Staff shared their experiences, realizations, and messages of advice for the aspiring applicants to encourage them more to join the publication. The recruitment process was also explained during the virtual event, wherein all students officially enrolled in the BS Entrepreneurship program have the chance to join the publication.

Please note that all waitlisted student applicants, regardless of whether they have been posted or not, may now pre-register for the following colleges and programs from June 8 to June 14, 2024, only.

Note: Pre-registration does not mean an automatic slot for the pre-screening process. The Colleges will choose among the student applicants who registered based on their CET results and set of criteria for the students to be screened. Kindly read and comprehend the reminders posted at the end of this form to avoid confusion and misinterpretation. Thank you!

CSPC Office of Student Testing and Admission released the results of the CSPC-College Entrance Test on May 29, 2024. While there were no CSPC-CET passers, 116 aspiring entrepreneurs applied for the BS Entrepreneurship Program. These waitlisted student applicants were advised to wait for further announcements regarding the pre-registration procedure. The lack of qualified student applicants validates the institution’s and program's standards, as they carefully select those who truly deserve a spot in BSEntrep.

Over 25 students from the College of Tourism, Hospitality, and Business Management (CTHBM) attended the first ever TINTA2024: TheNICHE Journalism Seminar Workshop, organized by TheNICHE Publication and held yesterday, May 29, 2024, at the CSPC Pearl Function Hall.

During the morning plenary session, TheSPARK's managing editor, Jhonel M. Luhan, discussed photojournalism and social media journalism. In the afternoon session, Mr. Vencel Angelo R. Sanglay, the CSPC's Social Media and Administrator, spoke about graphics and layout after Fernan Matthew A. Enimedez, one of the associate editors of TheSPARK, had discussed journalism writing. The three distinguished guest speakers generously provided their time and expertise to impart knowledge, strategies, and insider information to uplift and motivate the students.

Without the combined efforts of the TheNICHE Editorial Board and Staff and the overall committee head, Karen Mae G. Mendez, the Editor-in-Chief of TheNICHE Publication, the seminar workshop's conclusion will not be successful, especially without the steadfast assistance from the advisers, Ms. Ma. Anjelica N. Ampongan, Mr. Roque B. Cruz II, and the CTHBM Dean, Dr. Maria Joy C. Iglesia.

The YES Quartet 2024, spearheaded by the Young Entrepreneurs Society CSPC Chapter and supported by the BS Entrepreneurship Program, recently concluded on May 21, 2024, at the CSPC College Auditorium. It was a series of three face-to-face events composed of the General Assembly, the YES officers election, and the Recognition of Dean's Listers and Business Plan Implementation (BPI) groups.

The YES Adviser, Mr. Niño Martin P. Obrero, was present all throughout the one-day event, showing his unwavering support for the organization. He also left a heartfelt message of gratitude and pride for the outgoing YES officers and another message for the rest of the BS Entrep students. Mr. Roque B. Cruz II and Ms. Sheila Mae R. Zuñiga were also present during the afternoon event and actively interacted with the students. Before the day ended, the YES CSPC Chapter—Commission on Elections (ComElec) announced the new set of officers for the next school year 2024-2025, except for the election results for the representatives, which were still subject to further checking.

The YES QUARTET 2024: Entrep Awards took place at the CSPC auditorium in the afternoon of May 21, 2024. The program was to award the dean’s listers for their excellent academic performance and commendable record of hard work and dedication to their studies. The business plan implementation groups from the 4th year and the Young Entrepreneurs Society 2023-2024 officers were also awarded certificates of recognition for their contributions, but most especially for their great service to the BS Entrep community.

Additionally, the partial election results of the Young Entrepreneurs Society were announced before the program concluded. Let us meet the new set of YES CSPC officers who are ready to serve for the school year 2024-2025.

The YES election is fast approaching. Aspiring YES officers from both the LEAN and USAD Party List were asked relevant questions that corresponded to the respective positions they stand for. Candidates were able to share their thoughts about the questions given to each of them, and their responses to specific questions can be helpful as to how BSEntrep Student Voters decides who among the candidates should be voted for the next YES Officers for the A/Y 2024–2025.

As the YES Election for the school year 2024-2025 starts, the candidates from the LEAN and USAD Party List were asked whether they agreed or not with the following topics or current issues in our country and within the BSEntrep community in CSPC. Each candidate has their own different opinions that will serve as the basis for determining which candidate will be the best fit for the position in the YES Organization. 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘: 𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗬𝗘𝗦 𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗘𝗧 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰

All BS Entrepreneurship students from 1st year to 4th year are hereby required to attend the YES QUARTET event at the CSPC Auditorium on May 21, 2024, from 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM. The schedule of activities is as follows:

1. General Assembly
2. Election
3. Dean's Listers Recognition

In connection with the attendance, all BSEntrep students are required to accomplish and submit the parent’s consent form, which their class adviser must duly sign. Furthermore, the gala night is cancelled, and no students are allowed to conduct any related activities following all YES QUARTET events.

Pagsubaybay, a Tagalog term which means "to lookout" or "keep track of", TheNICHE will provide special coverage for the BSEntrep program on the events and happenings on the upcoming YES QUARTET 2024: ALPAS YEAR-END GENERAL ASSEMBLY, ALPAS ELECTION, and ENTREP AWARDS which will take place on May 21, 2024, at the CSPC Auditorium.

In line with this, TheNICHE will gladly bring forth news coverage for the YES ALPAS Election. And as of May 16, 2024, the YES CSPC Chapter released its official list of candidates which consists of 2 Partylists, namely the USAD & LEAN Partylist and its 20 candidates who showed bravery and is willing to step up in making the BSEntrepreneurship program a competent but delightful environment for the student body.

To all the candidates, best of luck to one and all. May the deserving candidates win and lead the Young Entrepreneurs Society and BSEntrepreneurship program to greater heights.

The Young Entrepreneurs Society CSPC Chapter spearheaded the recently concluded HIMOK 2024 on May 10, 2024, at the CSPC Incubation Center. 30 teams from the 1st year BS Entrepreneurship program participated during the Product Exhibit, while only 17 teams were given a chance to present their innovative product during the Business Idea Pitching Competition. The competition had two categories: the food category with 10 presenters and the non-food category with 7 presenters.

As TINTA 2024: TheNICHE Journalism Seminar Workshop is all set for May 29, 2024, at the CSPC Pearl Function Hall, TheNICHE Publication invites the students of the College of Tourism, Hospitality, and Business Management (CTHBM), most especially the BS Entrepreneurship students, to join the said event. The CTHBM student leaders are also highly encouraged to participate.

The Young Entrepreneurs Society will spearhead four important events in one day, entitled "𝗬𝗘𝗦 𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗘𝗧 2024: 𝗔𝗟𝗣𝗔𝗦 𝗘𝗻𝗱-𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆, 𝗬𝗘𝗦 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁" on 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 at the 𝗖𝗦𝗣𝗖 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘂𝗺.

✅ 𝗔𝗟𝗣𝗔𝗦: 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿-𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 (𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗗) - There will be a 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗕𝗟 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 and a 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲 where the students will vote if they want to revise the Constitution and By-laws of the Organization. Additionally, for transparency, the 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 and 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 will be discussed for the presentation of approved activities and breakdown of expenditures this school year (2023-2024).

✅ 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗗) - To further practice democracy, 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲-𝘁𝗼-𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 will be held, providing the students with an opportunity to get to know 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘀 before allowing the student body to vote for their chosen leaders.

✅ 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 (𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗗)- The 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝘆 will serve as an avenue for students to be recognized for their 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 and 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 in academics and help the awardees strive harder in the succeeding semesters.

✅ 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 (𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗬 𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗗) - Before the school year ends, the Young Entrepreneurs Society also aims to provide a 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 for the students to celebrate their achievements and resilience.

𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦 | 𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗬 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰

Over 160 second year BS Entrepreneurship students joined the Industry Experiential Learning (IEL) spearheaded by the Young Entrepreneurs Society CSPC Chapter on May 8, 2024, wherein they were accompanied by six YES CSPC Chapter officers and three BS Entrepreneurship faculty, namely Ms. Ma. Anjelica N. Ampongan, Dr. Lalaine M. Lastrollo, and Mr. Arnold M. Lasay. They first visited the Bicol International Airport (BIA) in the morning and the Farm Plate in the afternoon. The educational tour was also one of the final course requirements for the students this second semester.

Over 190 BSEntrep students participated in the International Business and Trade Seminar initiated by the BS Entrep program and spearheaded by the 3rd year BSEntrep students today, May 7, 2024. With the theme "Beyond Borders, Global Trade Compliance," the guest resource speaker, Mr. Jubille Marlourd Lucena, mainly discussed the laws and prohibitions related to international business and trade which are helpful for the young entrepreneurs. Meanwhile, the students who participated in the icebreakers and question and answer were given prizes, such as power banks, earphones, and speakers, by the event facilitators.

𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡 | 𝗔𝗗𝗡𝗨 𝗛𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗘𝗗 𝗔𝗦 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗜𝗡 𝟯𝗫𝟯 𝗠𝗘𝗡'𝗦 𝗕𝗔𝗦𝗞𝗘𝗧𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗟

The Ateneo De Naga University (ADNU) prevailed in the 3x3 Men's Basketball Tournament after beating University of Nueva Caceres (UNC) in the championship game held today, May 4, 2024, at the CSPC Gymnasium.

In the first five minutes of the intense ball game, UNC maintained the lead via a 7-4 score. However, the ADNU regained their lead in the game and tied the score shortly at 7-7. The two teams kept on exchanging scores via long 2s until the 12-12 point of the match. The ADNU took advantage and drifted away, stopping the UNC to score. The game ended when ADNU scored 21-12 to finish off the game with them claiming the championship title in the 3x3 Men's Basketball Tournament.

The tour guiding competition is currently being held today, May 4, 2024 at the CSPC LRDS AVR, which is participated by nine universities, namely Siena College Tigaon Inc. (SCT), Ateneo de Naga University (ADNU), Catanduanes State University (CATSU), Felix Alfelor Sr. Foundation College, STI Naga, Naga College Foundation (NCF), University of Northeastern Philippines (UNEP), University of Nueva Caceres (UNC), and University of Saint Anthony (USANT).
