This shoot is one for the books! We had a 14-hour day to shoot everything we needed for this John Wick inspired proposal/action short. 3 locations that were almost an hour away from each other. A 1-hour window for a helicopter and car scene in the airport, a 4-hour shooting time having 16 sequences with a major fight scene in a yacht, and a 30-minute window to shoot in a mall cinema.
All of this wouldn't be possible if not for Nanlite Philippines Nanlite Global. Having a lighting system that is powerful, super portable, easy to set up, and adaptable to any environment is definitely a godsend to any shoot. Setting the scene in a moving yacht was challenging, but having #nanlite really eased our workflow. Thanks to Aj Despi for a fully equipped grip team!
The leading man was awesome. Having no prior stunt experience, he did his scenes amazingly despite only having a couple of hours of training the day before. All of this was possible, thanks to Erwin Tagle, Kayley Carrigan and Tag Team Stunts for accommodating us and sharing your team's jaw-dropping talent for this project! Without them, the fight scenes wouldn't turn out as epic as it did!
