Promoting Sustainable Practices: Reduce, Reuse, Rejoice! ♻️🍃

Yesterday, a successful sustainability awareness program was conducted for grades 9 and 10 Technical High School students at the St. Maur Patio. Mr. Espiritu Mercado III a delivered a short presentation on electronic waste (e-waste), defining it as discarded electronic products and emphasizing the importance of proper disposal to mitigate environmental and health risks. The presentation included instruction on proper e-waste disposal methods and highlighted e-waste management strategies such as recycling and upcycling.

An e-waste collection booth, established at the TSH Parent-Faculty Council booths, facilitates community e-waste donations. Additionally, the PFC parents organized thrift stores.

These initiatives demonstrate the Technical High School community's unified commitment to environmental sustainability.

The Commencement of the Sto. Niño Festival 2025 🎉✨️👏🏻

January 16, 2025

Today, San Beda College Alabang commenced the annual Sto. Niño Festival 2025, with Rector President Rev. Fr. Gerardo Ma. De Villa, OSB, and the entire Bedan community. This event marks the start of the three-day Feast of Sto. Niño celebration. Following the enthronement ceremony, a delightful "Sampit sa Senior" dance performance by Technical High School students was presented, followed by a community dance led by the entire THS department. The event concluded with a community prayer and blessing.

It was a spectacular event, featuring diverse performances from the prayer dancers, SBCA Pep Band, Indian performers, and cheer dancers.

It was a truly wonderful way to begin the festivities!

Viva Sto. Niño! Viva, San Beda! 🙏🏻

Novena Mass in Honor of Sto. Nino

January 13, 2025

On the 13th of January, the Technical High School community participated in a Novena Mass in honor of Santo Niño, presided over by Rev. Fr. Pedro Ma. Cruz, OSB. In his homily, Rev. Fr. Pedro beautifully highlighted the innocence of children, reminding us to emulate their childlike qualities—trust, honesty, and joy—rather than childish behaviors.
