On December 20, 2024, the Central Philippines State University (CPSU) - Moises Padilla Campus held its Year-End Assessment and Management Review under the leadership of Campus Administrator Dr. Rosemie G. Gequillana. Initially scheduled to take place in the Campus Conference Room, the event was transferred within the campus premises due to the unexpected eruption of Mount Kanlaon. Despite the disruption, the faculty and staff came together to reflect on the yearโs accomplishments, evaluate departmental performance, and plan strategies for the welfare of the School Campus.
The assessment featured presentations from various offices and departments within th Campus, each highlighting their achievements, contributions, and areas for improvement. Key presenters included Dr. Rosemie G. Gequillana for the Administratorโs Office, Mr. Kenneth Arnido for the Assessment Office, Mr. Ronelo V. Gasataya, Jr., MAEd. for Human Resources, Maโam Ritchel N.Mayordo,MAEd. for the Cashierโs Office, Dr. Simias A. Abundo for the Scholarship Office, and Mr. Bernie S. Basas, MIT, for Quality Assurance (ISA and ISO). Other notable presenters included Maโam Rose Ann Balladares, MIT, for the Registrarโs Office, Maโam Julie Anne S. Abundo, MAEd. for the Research and Supply Offices, Sir Efraim S. Sumagaysay,MSAg. for the Extension & Production Office, and Dr. Estela Dequito for the Library Office.
Additional presentations were made by Ms. Raysel L. Valencia, RCrim, for ROTC/NSTP, Ms. Jezza Mar Sencil, LPT, for the School Publication, Mr. Ryan O. Espaรฑola for the SSG, Ms. Rea Inquillo for FLP, Dr. Jose Edmund P. Odencio for OSSA, Ms. Glaiza Palmamento for Medical and Dental Services, and Mr. Joel Love Jangad for the Guidance Office. Mr. Emilver Christian Arquero,MIT, represented the Management Information System (MIS), while the Program Chairs included Mr. Efraim S. Sumagaysay,MSAg. for BSAB, Ms. Rose Ann Balladares for BSIT, and Dr. Rosemie G. Gequillana for BEED.
The achievements of each office and department reflects the perseverance and hardwork of the faculty and staff throughout the course of the year. In order to ensure ongoing development and connection with the university's goals, the presentations emphasized each office accomplishments as well as particular areas for improvement. The evaluation emphasized the institution's dedication to providing exceptional Quality Education in spite of challenges.
The event concluded on a festive note with an exchange of gifts among faculty and staff, symbolizing camaraderie and gratitude. Adding to the celebration, 5th District Congressman Atty. Dino Yulo generously provided gifts for everyone, making the occasion even more memorable.
As year 2025 is approaching, the campus reaffirmed its commitment to quality education and service. Led by Dr. Gequillana, the CPSU-Moises Padilla Campus continues to uphold the universityโs mission and vision, fostering resilience, collaboration, and excellence. The event served as a proof to the campus communityโs dedication, setting the stage for even greater success in the coming year.
