Picture this: A call center representative is paid $17.25 atleast and in between $22per hour to $35.88 per hour of taking calls or chat services at maximum.
�A VA with extensive and variety of experience are offered to be hired directly or indirectly via an agency is offered a $2-7 per hour at-least or at maximum.
�And if you are one of the luckiest, you are offered $7-14 by the hour worth of service.
If you are in IT or other technical and accounting niches, you earn more but still not compensated enough for the workloads and pressure of deliverables.
The US government requires a payment per hour of at-least $7.25, if hired directly by a business.
But because of the pressure and day to day needs, Filipino VA’s are forced to accept low-ball offers.
�The Virtual Services or Freelancing Industry has become a bed of impossible, demanding and low-balling clients.
And a cave of scams and hopeful beginners that are willing to bite at any grub they find in this industry.
We can’t blame them though when stomachs are empty and the need is demanding…
While it has provided means for experience-hungry beginners, on the contrary it has also affected skillful and well-experienced Freelancers.
It has created a scarcity for opportunity because some are willing to settle for less to wiggle their way in this industry.
