How to tell if your heart chakra is blocked.

If you've ever taken a yoga or meditation class, then you may have heard about the seven chakras. They’re energy centers within your body that can impact how you feel and behave. One such example? The heart chakra: it’s located, predictably, by your heart, and when it’s out of whack it can affect your love life.

Your chakras start at the crown of your head and travel down the body to the base of your spine, and are often described as "unblocked" or "blocked,” or “open” or “closed.” When your chakras are unblocked, you’re in balance and able to function your best, says Dani Schenone, a yoga teacher and holistic wellness specialist at wellness booking platform Mindbody. But when they’re blocked, you can experience physical and emotional changes until that balance is restored, she explains. In the case of your heart chakra, it’s associated with love and understanding when in equilibrium, says psychic and spiritual counselor Davida Rappaport. But things like stress and emotional pain — usually caused by bad memories, emotions, and/or overthinking — can close it up. The end result? It can make it difficult to form and sustain healthy relationships, she says.

Luckily, knowing the symptoms of a blocked heart chakra can help you address it head-on — but it’s an ongoing process to keep it clear. "Do not think, however, that if you remove your blockage one time you are done," she tells Bustle. "There is no one-time fix: Clearing a blocked heart chakra, just like all other chakras, is an ongoing process." She recommends staying connected to yourself so you can spot any blockage and tackle it with therapeutic activities like journaling, yoga, meditation, and even talk therapy.

Find a man who answers when you call and texts back within minutes rather than days.

Find a man that gives you clear cut answers and doesn’t leave you wondering where you stand.

Find a man that wants to make you a part of his life rather than a chapter in his book.

Find a man who doesn’t take years and years to figure out what he wants from you.

Find a man who respects, celebrates and encourages your individuality, your education, your spirituality, and your growth.

Remember It is never asking too much from a man to be considered a priority.

Find a man who is genuinely interested in you and pursues you on a daily basis.

Find a man who asks you to go to church with him.

Find a man that never let's you go to sleep at night wondering if you still matter.

Watch how a man treats his mother. You can learn alot from how someone treats the person that brought them into this world.

Never chase a man because of his looks because one day those looks will eventually fade and what your left with is what's inside so don't be consumed by his physical traits.

Find a man who protects you and stands up for you even when you're not around.

Find a man who values you and who would never put themselves in a position to lose you.

Find a man who wakes up everyday looking for new ways to love you.

Find a man that understands it's not about giving you the world but making you feel like you're the only one in it.

Take my advice and remember your time is precious. Don't waste it on someone who doesn't realize you are too.

Energy vampirism is a parasitic relationship in which one person feeds off of the life force (also known as prana) of another person.

These people who drain other's energy are referred to as psychic vampires. But despite this definition, it is impossible to take energy from someone else. So why does it feel possible?

How to prevent yourself from loosing energy as the result of one and urges us to recognize the patterns of vampirism within ourselves. Psychic vampires do not feel as if this universe is infinite. They do not feel that it is possible to get the love that they desire. They do not trust themselves to fulfill their own needs. And as a result, they believe that the only way to get what they need is to take it from others.

Believe it or not, the remedy for victim and vampire is the same!

Both must realize the truth that it is impossible to take energy from someone or have your energy taken by someone. If you feel drained of energy or like you don't have enough, it is because you are not allowing yourself to think thoughts that let that energy in. Then, both need to do the following:

⚡Develop Authenticity (create and find the true self).
⚡Develop Autonomy and a sense of healthy self sufficiency where one feels capable of fulfilling one's own needs.
⚡Nurture themselves (cultivate self love).
⚡Commit to their life and physical body.
⚡Develop self trust (if we really trusted our own internal guidance system and our own ability to "discern" we would not worry about what other people could do to us).
⚡Learn to see and expect nuances (gray areas and complexities) instead of seeing the world as black and white with villains and victims.
⚡Study the behaviors they want to receive from others (for example: do you want to be caressed? Appreciated? Listened to?) And practice doing those things to others.

Any thought you can think and anything you can do to help yourself feel empowered, will put you in a vibrational space beyond where you would be a match to either being a psychic vampire or being a victim to one.
