How do you create a value-based proposition for your products/services? ✏️

It's not about having the best product in the market or the latest and greatest, It starts with asking the right questions,

Just like when every human being buys a Shoe, it's always different,

one may have a size 9.5, that's more on the technical side,

one may want a Basketball Shoe that feels comfortable, while the other may want an aesthetic walking shoe, that doesn't fit so nicely but looks good. that's more on the operational,

one may like funky colors, while one might like classic black and white, and that's more of a personal,

and one might buy something they don't really want, but buy it anyway to mean Business.

Every project has a different goal, every stake-holder in the project also aims for a goal that the others may not want.

that's why understanding the Project Requirements on your first meeting will dictate the flow whether you can actually provide value.

Here are some areas that you might want to include in your discovery call or meeting.

What are the technical and operational goals of the project?

What are the Personal goals of the person you are talking to?

Who else is involved in this project? what are their goals as well?

What is the cost of doing nothing?

More importantly, it's also important to talk about the basic requirements such as,

what's the application? where will it be used?

what's the Budget, yep real buyers always have a target price, it's just up to you if you can have that discussion early on so you don't waste time.

who is the Competition, another hard topic to discuss, but if you build

rapport with your customer, you should be able to identify who or what else they are looking at.

who is the Decision Maker, and what are decision making points?

What is the timeline for this project or purchase?

What support or services may be needed in the future? do you need 1 year, 3years warranty?

if you are able to identify these things, you are already proving yourself to your customer that you can help them, without even having to mention any product or services.

now it is your Job to find out later, if after all the questions you've asked, is this customer a right fit or not?

of course, you wouldn't go into the meeting without pre-qualifying them, so the question is, will you go through all of these so that you can provide High Value Proposition for your products/services?

First look at the NIKE GT JUMP 2 EP. CRAZY Cushion!

I just got this Nike GT Jump 2 EP, I think it's beautiful probably the one of the most tech-filled shoes of Nike as of Late,

the Cushion is awesome 10/10, you feel like you have memory foam on you feet, you almost didn't feel that you jumped, yep it's that good.

Court feel = 0/10, because you're definitely high off the ground on this one!

Weight = about 14 ounces so it's quite heavy, not for sprinting.

It's True to Size, snug and comfortable 10/10

Breathability is good 10/10

Materials are nice, and looks like it will last a while.

Durability is already XDR. Extra durable rubber. So this is where it gets confusing, I have loved the shoe so far. but..

the traction, traction is SO BAD! 1/10.

first of all No Squeak at all, maybe by chance.

I used it in 3 Indoor Courts, also let my friends use it,

and what can I say, after running 1 full court, I immediately switched shoes, because I might break my bones in it. I have slipped multiple times.

this definitely not a shoe for Guards, but a must for Power Forwards and Centers whose built is heavy or tall, just like Jokic. but if you're small like me i'm 5"5, then this shoe is definitely not for you.

I have yet to try it out on an outdoor setting, but for 9,985 Pesos, I felt like it was a waste that I cannot use it INDOORS!

I still like it though, but i'd like to know how I can utilize it on Indoor Basketball court. Nike, please help me on this!

Finding your passion can be a rewarding but sometimes challenging process.

Here are a few pieces of friendly advice that may help:

Reflect on your values and interests.

What matters most to you?

What are you naturally drawn to?

Take time to try new things.

Experiment with different hobbies, activities, and experiences.

This can help you discover new passions and broaden your horizons.

Seek out opportunities to learn and grow.

Consider taking classes, joining clubs or organizations, or volunteering in your community.

These activities can help you develop new skills and passions.

Don't be afraid to take risks.

Stepping outside your comfort zone can be scary, but it can also lead to new and exciting opportunities.

Talk to others about their passions.

Learning about other people's interests and experiences can help you discover your own passions and find inspiration.

Remember that finding your passion is a journey, and it may take time and effort.

Don't get discouraged if you don't find it right away.

Keep exploring and learning, and you'll eventually discover what truly brings you joy and fulfillment.

For me I enjoy Learning and Teaching topics that I love, such as Photography, Video, Engineering and How to be more productive with the limited time we have.

Looking to be more productive in your work/study setting?

The Pomodoro Technique can be an effective way to help you stay focused and increase your productivity when studying or working.

Here's 4 tips how to use it:

1. Choose a task you need to complete:

This could be a study assignment, a work project, or any other task that you need to focus on.

2. Set a timer for 25 minutes:

During this time, known as a "Pomodoro," focus solely on the task at hand and try to work without any distractions.

3. Take a short break:

When the timer goes off, take a 5-minute break to stretch, grab a drink, or do something else to clear your mind. Such as writing a social media post like this.

4. Repeat the process: After four "Pomodoros," take a longer break (15-30 minutes) before starting the process again.

By following the Pomodoro Technique, you can break your work into manageable chunks and take regular breaks to recharge, which can help you stay focused and avoid burnout.

You can also use tools like the Pomodoro Timer app to help you keep track of your Pomodoros and breaks.

in my case I use an automatic sit-stand desk reminder every 25 minutes so I can switch my position to sit and stand during workdays.

Keep in mind that the Pomodoro Technique may not work for everyone, so it's important to find what works best for you and your needs.

Did you know you can use your ps5 controller with your PC?

Yes, you can use a PS5 controller on a Windows PC for gaming using DS4Windows. DS4Windows is a third-party program that allows you to use a DualShock 4 controller on your PC. It works by emulating an Xbox controller, which means you can use it with any game that supports Xbox controller input.

To use a PS5 controller with DS4Windows, you will need to have a Bluetooth adapter or a wired connection. If you are using a Bluetooth adapter, you will need to pair the controller with your PC. Once the controller is connected, you can use it with DS4Windows to play games on your PC.

Keep in mind that not all games may work with the PS5 controller, as some games are designed specifically for Xbox controllers. However, most games should work fine with the controller.

Slow start of the year?

Here are a few ideas for motivation to get back to work in the new year:

1. Set specific and achievable goals for the year ahead. This will give you something to work towards and help you stay motivated.

2. Find a support system – whether it's a coworker, a mentor, or a friend – who can help you stay on track and encourage you to keep going.

3. Take time to reflect on your accomplishments and successes from the past year. This will help you see how far you've come and give you the confidence to tackle new challenges.

4. Set aside time each day to focus on work-related tasks, and create a schedule that works for you. This will help you stay organized and on track.

5. Take breaks when you need them, and make time for self-care. This will help you stay energized and motivated to work.

6. Surround yourself with positive and motivated people who can help you stay focused and motivated.

7. Find ways to stay engaged and motivated, whether it's by learning new skills, taking on new challenges, or trying something new.

Remember, getting back to work can be tough, but with a little motivation and some careful planning, you can set yourself up for a successful and productive year ahead.

Here’s my productivity set up for 2023.

I’m using a Samsung odyssey G7 32 inch, 240hz, 2K display and with a second monitor I have the Asus ProArt 279CV a 4k Color calibrated monitor running on RTX 3080 TI.

keychron k8 pro for my mech keyboard

G pro X superlight mouse and for speakers I have the Edifier R1280dbs.

I also have baseus light bar, and a flexispot sit-stand desk.

For Microphone, i use a very old Audiotechnica ATR-2500 and a hyperxcloud ii with misodiko earpads :)

I’ve recently upgraded to a Mechanical Keyboard,

And here are my thoughts;

1. Sound, if you are alone and you enjoy the sound of thocc and clacks by mechs, then you are probably going to enjoy this addictive collection, you’ll probably end up with 2 or more keyboards later on. But if you are with officemates this may not be an ideal investment for you as the sound may be pleasing for the user but irritating for non-mech keyboard fans.

2. Feel, tactile, linear, clicky, there are different switches and each are a preference of each person, I choose the red switches because it matches my current mood, but who’s to say It will stop me from
Buying blue or even brown switches, we don’t know yet.

3. Colorway, this is ultimately one of the factors why keycaps are so in demand today, just visiting datablitz will amaze you how many keycaps and keyboards they are selling, yep, keyboards are a fun and expensive collection, but it’s taking users by storm.

4. Artisan keycaps, oh, you haven’t even seen one? Just wait until you see a fully modded keyb, with Game Keycaps, anime, swords, pokemon, logos ans all, argh, just one keycap can cost easily 2,000 pesos!

5. Artisan wrist/palm rest, yep, haha it’s an exciting time to be alive, but as they say you have got to reward yourself for your hardwork, there are many artisan wrist rests that are made of wood, resin some are even mixed, and some are memory foam, again it’s all about your overall feel. after all this will affect your productivity, right?

6. Mousepads are another take, we can talk so much more about them.

Well yeah, right now i have this keychron k8 pro, it’s a tenkeyless keyboard, you can see it’s a keyboard without any numpad.

It can be used either wired or wireless, in both mac and windows and can connect up to 3 computers.

It also runs at a 4000mAh battery so it can last quite a while, especially if its not running on RGB, yep it’s RGB with a few color modes, i usually turn this off tho.

This particular keyboard is quite heavy so I wouldnt recommend it for on the go use, but this is perfect for gaming, and typing. I Can go up to 110-120 words per minute via monkeytype, but i can go faster with the mxkeys.

Anyway, i’m only starting the keyboard familiarity so I’m not into modding yet, like lubing, putting in foams and such, maybe if you can tag friends who are familiar I they can share some stuff I can start reading on.

Just got news today from Manila Bulletin that the Luzon Grid tumbled into a new round of "Red Alert", as per advised by National Grid Corporation of the Philippines due to transmission line tripping, forced outages of power plants and de-rating of electricity generation of some facilities.

this is alarming, as millions of consumers like us may suffer rotational blackouts today at 1:00 to 4:00pm.

Last week, I was able to drop by at the The Future Energy Show, representing Braemac and OPAL-RT TECHNOLOGIES and visited some of the solutions for Residential and Commercial consumers like us.

I met a few people and made a quick vlog where I interviewed some solution providers like GoodWe, SolarHive (SMA Solar Technology AG) and First Gen Corporation.

In this video we will learn how a hybrid solar inverter works, and how it may help us as Consumers, avoid situations like the blackouts stated above, and help in the goal of Net Zero.
