The Masbate Community Broadcasting Company (MCBC), a holder of a congressional franchise under Republic Act No. 7510, is now on its 3rd decade of fruitful existence and continues to uphold the vision of service to the people.
With the vision to serve Masbateños, the late Cong. Moises Espinosa Sr. founded the Masbate Community Broadcasting Co. (MCBC) and incorporated year 1979 with him serving as the president of the board. The original members of the board include: Moises R. Espinosa Jr. (Vice President), Ludivina K. Espinosa (Treasurer), Maloli K. Espinosa (Assistant Treasurer) and Mario K. Espinosa (Secretary). MCBC is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission. MCBC was registered as a broadcasting company with DYME-AM 783 kHz with an initial power of 1kW.
In the year 1984, DYME-AM increased its power to 5kW and continued to operate with the utmost goal of serving the public. To honor the vision and legacy of the late Cong. Moises R. Espinosa Sr., the family decided to expand MCBC’s operation in 1990 to include an FM station operating at 1KW(DYME-FM 95.9 MHZ) and the first affiliate TV Station of ABS-CBN in the Bicol Region (DYME-TV Channel 10) operating at 250W.

MASBATE (A profile)
Masbate is an island province of the Philippines located in the Bicol Region. Its capital is Masbate City.
