Ang singkawit ay salin sa wikang Filipino ng Valence. Ito ang isa sa mga terminong ating madadaanan sa pag-aaral ng Kemistri.

Ayon sa libro ng Panimulang Kemistri ni Bienvenido T. Miranda, tinukoy niya ang mga “charge” ng mga elemento bilang “akit” na may iba’t ibang kalakasan. Karagdagan, binanggit din niyang may positibo at negatibong akit kaya may mga numerong tulad ng +1,-1,+2 at -2 na matatagpuan sa periodic table.

PROCLAMATION TO OVERCOME THE DEVIL

I testify to Satan personally as to what the word says the blood does for me: (1)

Through the blood of Jesus, I am redeemed out of the hand of the devil. (2)

Through the blood of Jesus, all my sins are forgiven. (3)

The blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, continually cleanses me from all sin. (4)

Through the blood of Jesus, I am justified, made righteous, just-as-if-I’d never sinned. (5)

Through the blood of Jesus, I am sanctified, made holy, set apart to God. (6)

My body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, redeemed, cleansed, by the blood of Jesus. (7)

Satan has no place in me, no power over me, through the blood of Jesus!

1) Revelation 12:11 — “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb [Jesus Christ] and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” (That is, they testified to what the Word of God says about the blood of Jesus.)

2) Psalm 107:2 — Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy...

3) Ephesians 1:7 — In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace...

4) 1 John 1:7 — But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

5) Romans 5:9 — Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

6) Hebrews 13:12 — Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.

7) 1 Corinthians 6:19 — Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Some people call it “credentials”, I call it “grace.”

When I got older, I’ve found the real beauty of grace; and when I go deeper in this word, I am always reminded of my real position/place in life.

The blessings I have, the accomplishment and goals I have achieved, the awards I have received, the position I have right now, the compliments I received, all that I am and all that I have, it all falls into the word — GRACE.

For instance, I made so many mistakes, yet grace was showered in my life and I got the “nth” chances to grow from it.

Next is, “Not all the time, I am too strong to accomplish all the tasks and finish all the deadlines, yet grace picked me up and finished all the things that need to be done. I am a living proof that grace is indeed perfected in our weaknesses.”

I messed up and sinned every day, yet by grace and through grace, I still have the confidence to approach God, to pray and ask for His forgiveness and help.

When I say “Lord, I can’t do it!”, His grace is always available and sufficient to provide what I need — oh, courage? faith? strength? wisdom? His grace provided it.

…and when I die, I don’t want to be known all because of my credentials, I want to be known as someone who was saved by grace and a recipient of it. That’s how I am in love with the word, “grace”.

Grace humbles us. Grace reminds us of who we are and who are God is. Grace is NOT a cheap word. It sustained you. It carried you through.

At the end of the day, we have nothing to be proud of, because everything will only fall into God’s grace.

Cliché to say but let me remind you of this, “𝙉𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙙𝙪𝙚.”

(Oh, why I am crying while I’m writing this message. This is how I am in love with the word, “grace”. Are you grateful with this word as well? Now, just say “Thank you, LORD!”)

Someone graduated at the age of 22, but waited 5 years before securing a good job.
Someone became a CEO at 25, and died at 50.
While another became a CEO at 50, and lived to 90 years.
Someone is still single, while someone from his school group has become grandfather.
Obama retired at 55 & Trump started at 70.
Everyone in this world works based on their time zone.
People around you might seem ahead of you & some might seem to be behind you.
But everyone is running their own race, in their own time.
Do not envy them.
They are in their time zone, and you are in yours.
So, relax.
You're not late.
You're not early.
You are very much on time.
