HAPPINESS IS NOT THE PURPOSE OF LIFE

The purpose of life is to come to know God in a personal way; the purpose of life is the knowledge of God.

And to think that somehow "happiness" can replace that fundamentally misunderstands what it is that "happiness" actually is. Happiness is only a feeling. And it is a feeling that comes and goes, ebbs and flows, waxes and wanes.

One day you are happy about the very same thing that the next day you are unhappy about. Happiness is neither a reliable nor stable guide to anything.

If we only "do things because they make us happy" then we are going to never do good things that make us unhappy and we will do bad things if they make us happy.

This is dangerous.
This is unhealthy.
This is unlivable.

We can't "do things just because they make us happy" because our happiness flexes so often that it is unreliable as a good reason for doing things.

You should "do it" (whatever "it" is) not because it makes you happy, but because it is what Jesus wants you to do.

And Jesus is THE good, THE truth, THE life, and THE way. So whatever it is that He wants you to do, it is the way to the good, the truth, and the life; Jesus is THE way to a personal relationship with God... the very purpose of life.

Do it because it is what Jesus wants you to do, and Jesus wants you to do what is best for you and best for others.

Kaya kung minsan nakakaranas ka ng masasakit na sitwasyon sa buhay mo, Baka nireremind ka na Ng Lord na bumalik na sa Kanya.
Dahil kung sa ating sariling lakas or alam wala tayong magagawa para mawala yung sakit. He reminded us na Siya ang cure sa lahat ng pain or hurt na pinagdaraanan natin. At pinapakita din Ng Lord na if we are in pain we need to still Praise Him. ♥

1 Peter 5:7 says “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for us”. Just throw it on him, and let him carry your burdens.

Bitawan mo lang sa Kanya, at hayaan mo Siyang dalhin ang iyong mga pasanin. Sinabi ni Jesus na maaari nating bitawan ang lahat ng ating mga alalahanin sa Kanya dahil nagmamalasakit Siya sa atin! Wala tayong pinagdadaanan na hindi natin kayang bitawan sa Panginoon.

Yung nakakalimutan natin lahat ng mga ginawa ng Panginoon sa buhay natin because of our current painful situation.

Nakalimutan mo na dati nag provide ang Panginoon.
Nakalimutan mo na dati pinagaling kana Ng Panginoon.
Nakalimutan mo na binigyan ka ng work Ng Panginoon.
Nakalimutan mo na sinagot ng Panginoon ang panalangin mo.
Nakalimutan mo na Ang Panginoon ay tapat sa pamilya mo.
Nakalimutan mo na dati pinagtagumpay ka na Ng Panginoon sa pagsubok sa buhay mo.

But because of your current painful situation
Nakalimutan mo ang lahat ng ito.
Ang Diyos ay nagpapagaling.
Ang Diyos ay tapat.
Ang Diyos ay nagbibigay.
Ang Diyos ay kasama mo.

Even though that we have Christian amnesia sometimes that we forget that we have a good God . That God had already done great things in our lives. Kahit ganito tayo God never forgets you. God has never forgets His great love for you. God will never forgets us.

ISAIAH 49:14-16
But Zion said, "The LORD has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me." God said, Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, yet I will not forget you.
See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands. ✨

💁‍♀️ Just like in the movie 𝙈𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙂𝙞𝙧𝙡𝙨 where the popular clique claims "𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯'𝘵 𝘴𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘶𝘴!" to those beneath them, we might be shunned because we don't have much to offer in the worldly sense.

Meanwhile, Jesus embraced the lowest of the low and He invites 𝗮𝗹𝗹 to His table, no matter where you are in life. 🪑

Kahit malapit na Sa Lord.
There is always a potential to have hell in your mind.
Satan is not fair to fight, Huwag nating i-expect na kapag nilabanan kayo ng kaaway patas sya.
Mandaraya yan, Sinungaling yan kaya lahat ng kasinungalingan ilalagay nya sayo. Kaya lagi nyang ibabato sayo ito ka lang. Ito lang mararating nyo,
Mahina ka,
pangit ka,
walang plano ang Diyos sayo,
hindi ka mahal Ng Diyos.
He will throw lies to you and he will always bring up your past. Napagtagumpayan mo na ibabalik pa ng kaaway.
Nagbago kana ibabalik pa ni satan.
Lagi syang mag ccreate ng opportunity para itempt at i-trick ka pagmumukhain ni satan na tama ang mali at mali ang tama. At pagmumukhain na foolishness and wisdom at ang wisdom ay foolishness.

Kaya ingat ka because satan will not fight a fair fight. He will always use deception in your life.

Nahihirapan ka bang makatrabaho ang boss mo? Huwag mong pakalakasan ang sagot at baka marinig ka. Pero kung ito ang pinagdaraanan mo, my simple tip for you today is this, fix your eyes on God who is your ultimate boss and let God lead you.

Kung sa tao kasi tayo nakatingin, talagang marami tayong makikitang maaaring ika-inis natin, ikasama ng loob o ika-disappoint. Ang sabi ni Benjamin Franklin, "Blessed is he that expects nothing, for he shall never be disappointed." Marami ang nadi-disappoint sa kanilang mga boss dahil mayroon silang expectations na hindi nangyari. Pero kung ang Diyos ang boss ng buhay mo, be ready to be amazed beyond what you can ask, expect or imagine. Let God lead you. Paano?

1) Learn to entrust your plans to Him. Mabuting gumawa ng plano para sa buhay mo, trabaho o negosyo. Pero mas mabuting ang mga planong ito ay ipinagkakatiwala natin sa Diyos. Alam ng Diyos ang lahat. Bago pa mapredict ng financial analysts kung ano ang mga negosyong papatok o hihina, alam na ng Diyos ang lahat ng ito. While it is helpful to know the opinions of business experts, walang makadadaig sa pagtitiwala sa Diyos pagdating sa mga pasyahin mo sa buhay.Ang sabi sa Proverbs 19:21, "Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand."

2) Endeavor to honor God in everything you do. Ang tiyak na paraan para makaiwas sa mga tukso at kumpromiso sa trabaho, honor God in everything that you do. If God is your number 1 boss, alam mo na kaagad kung ano ang gagawin sa mga tempting offers na dumarating sa iyo. Tanggihan ang hindi makaluluwalhati sa Diyos at manindigan para sa tama at matuwid. Easier said than done, but possible with the Lord's help.

3) Pray to God moment by moment. Kung tayo ay required na magpasa ng report sa ating boss, paano ka magrereport sa Diyos? Sa pamamagitan ng pananalangin.God knows everything that you do, but He still longs to talk to you in prayer. I-kwento mo sa Kanya kung ano ang mga pinagdaraanan mo sa trabaho mo. Sabihin mo sa Kanya kung ano ang mga bigatin at pagsubok na mayroon ka ngayon. God is always available to listen to you. Hindi mo kailangang makipag-appointment dahil palagi Siyang handang makinig sa bawat panalangin mo.

Ang sabi sa Colossians 3:23, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters". Invite God to be the boss of your life today.

A lot happened to David in his life. He went from being a shepherd to God’s anointed king (1 Samuel 16:11-13). He loved God and wrote some of the deepest Psalms we cherish today, but he struggled with sins that devastated his family and his entire kingdom. He was adored by his people, yet his own son undermined him and took control of his kingdom.

David experienced dimensions of joy and grief that may never touch our lives, but somehow his praise to God is still relatable. The same feelings of being overwhelmed, surrounded, and at the mercy of our enemies — even when our “enemies” come in the form of bill collectors, poor health, and in-laws — exist today. That’s why David’s example is so powerful: Whether he was at a high or low point in his life, he stopped to praise God and give thanks.

Praising God can mean simply speaking the truths we know about Him. That’s how David starts his praise: “The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer” (2 Samuel 22:2). Then David shifts to thankfulness — ways that God demonstrated His stability, shelter, and deliverance: “In my distress I called to the Lord; I called out to my God … He drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me,” (2 Samuel 22:7 and 2 Samuel 22:17-18).

Praising God and thanking Him for what He has done in our lives can help us to think about “whatever is true,” which the apostle Paul says will help us have peace (Philippians 4:8). But, it can also change our hearts and lives as we pay closer attention to what God does for us on a daily basis.

When God decides to use you, the requirements are different & at times it can feel isolating, weighty or like you've been set up to fail.
