𝟏𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐢𝐝𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲

The 14𝘵𝘩 𝘙𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘊𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘺 commenced this
12𝘵𝘩 𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘑𝘢𝘯𝘶𝘢𝘳𝘺 2025, and was held in the grounds of 𝘙𝘊-𝘈𝘒𝘐𝘊 𝘚𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘓𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘚𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭 𝘎𝘺𝘮𝘯𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘶𝘮, with the theme “𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦: 𝘏𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘈𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘌𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐𝘯𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘓𝘪𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘶𝘪𝘵𝘴”. It showcased students taking their rewards for sacrificing their time, sleep and even their health and many more in their academics.

The school takes immense pride in developing values like discipline, commitment, and education in RC-Al Khwarizmi International College Inc. It was a proud moment not only for the students but for the parents, the teachers, and the community as a whole, who put tremendous effort and time into mentoring the students throughout the process of achieving their goals.

During the ceremony, we were accompanied by the honored guest-speaker. Prof. 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐍𝐢𝐞𝐳 𝐌𝐨𝐣𝐢𝐜𝐚 was the guest speaker in the morning whose words, together with the event, served as a driving force. As the multi-faceted and spirited individual she is, Ma’am Cherrilyn encouraged the students to embrace hardships, follow their ambitions, and pursue careers regardless of the circumstances.

Dr. 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐡 𝐀. 𝐃𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧-𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐝𝐚 was the guest speaker for the afternoon. She encouraged the youth to continue working hard, and she also emphasized "it's okay to stumble, but it's not okay to give up”, “Believe in yourself”, "Keep learning and exploring” which surely captivated the students’ their minds.

During the ceremony, teachers, and families applauded the students for their endeavors, and in return, these students offered genuine smiles. For those who did not obtain recognition, the event fused them with the motivation to set their goals higher and work harder. All in all, the event established determination in the students and instilled hope in them while efficiently demonstrating the importance of having a vision and how it helps with pursuing one’s goals. The strong will and thirst to dream of a better future to make a better tomorrow embody the values the Foundation holds to aid in developing aspiring future leaders.

𝐊𝐇𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐙𝐌𝐈𝐀𝐍 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐄

The Department of Science and Technology and Chair of the PSHS System Board of Trustees, have announced the names of the successful qualifiers to the Philippine Science High School System (PSHS System) National Competitive Examination (NCE) for School Year 2025-2026!

One of our learners, 𝗝𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗺 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽, is one of the successful qualifiers who excelled in the one-step screening conducted last November and December 2024.

𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐂 𝐂𝐔𝐏 | 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 🏆

𝘈 𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦🦅!

The AKIC SLS celebrated the 14th al-Khwarizmi Cup on the 14th of December and ended on the 19th of December.

The Khwarizmians competed in a variety of categories—showcasing their incredible talents and giving their best to win in the friendly competition. This event is very helpful to Junior High School Students— it helps many student to overcome their fear on stage and showcased their amazing talent in every category in this event.

The Khwarizmians were ecstatic today as they learned which of the four houses of knowledge would be chosen as the winners. At the SLS Gymnasium, the 𝘼𝙡-𝘽𝙪𝙧𝙯𝙟𝙖𝙣𝙞, 𝘼𝙡-𝙍𝙖𝙯𝙞, 𝘼𝙡-𝙆𝙝𝙖𝙮𝙮𝙖𝙢, and 𝘼𝙡-𝙃𝙖𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙢 are assembled to accept the honors from the houses of knowledge that put up a great deal of effort for this year's AKIC Cup.

The national anthem came after the invocation, which kicked off the day. Following that, they began announcing each category's winners. There was laughter throughout the gymnasium. Following the announcement of the special awards, there were categories for the mind and arts, sports, literary, musical, Islamic , and sports.

This marked the end of the AKIC cup. The 𝘼𝙡-𝙆𝙝𝙖𝙮𝙮𝙖𝙢 💚🦅was able to take home the title of 𝙊𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙞𝙤𝙣. Recognizing new things is just as important as winning in this Cup.

We would like to salute the bright Khwarizmians, who fought fiercely and passionately throughout the Cup, as well as the always encouraging advisors of each house of wisdom.

𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐂 𝐂𝐔𝐏 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 🏆| 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟒

Lights, Music, Action !!✨🎤🥁

The AKIC CUP is more than an event—it’s a vibe. Today, as the last day of AKIC CUP came, our school came alive with music, dance, and unforgettable moments that proved just how talented and passionate the khwarizmians are. With the help of our estemmed panel of judges: Prof. Jerryk C. Alico, Al-Afghani Usman, and Nasrolah M. Macadato, the last day of this year's AKIC CUP was successfully wrapped up.

It all started with the vocal solo competition. The house competitors poured their hearts into every note, making the crowd cheer, clap, and yell out for them. Then came the vocal duet, where harmony ruled the stage.

And then came the group impersonation contest—a newly added contest that seems to be a crowd favorite. It was all laughs, creativity, and inside jokes as each house showed their playful side. With each house participants for this competition, the crowd was surprised, laughing, and cheering as the participants seemed to truly imitate international artists. Some houses tried to capture Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars and One Direction.

Finally, the dances took over the spotlight. The modern dance competition brought sharp, energetic moves that kept the audience hyped. But the cultural dance stole the show, reminding us of the beauty of tradition as they gave us a colorful and shining show. The stage lit up with colorful costumes, powerful rhythms, and choreography reminding us the essence of being a maranao.

The stage may be quiet for now, but the grand finale awaits. Awardings are tomorrow, Khwarizmians—don’t miss it!🙌

Yesterday, the championships of Basketball and Volleyball Men & Women, were successfully wrapped up together with the debate competition, digital poster making, and Mobile Legends tournament 2.

The 4th day of the 14th Al-Khwarizmi Cup was commenced with the Islamic category. The participants under the Adhan and Reading Qur’an astonished the audience with their beautiful and mesmerizing voices.

Additionally, the participants from the Islamic sermon, made the audience rethink and reflect after sharing their insightful words of wisdom. Furthermore, the audience were amazed with the natural wit and intellectual capability of the spelling bee participants. Meanwhile, minds were boggled and shaked during the Scrabble, Chess, Boogle, and on-the-spot essay writing competitions.

In the afternoon, the Impromptu Speech competition proved that Khwarizmians not only are champions in academics, but also in on-the-spot public speaking. Furthermore, the hearts of the Khwarizmian audience were hit and touched with the creative expressions of the participants under the Spoken Poetry, Declamation, and Speech Choir competitions.

The event was closed with the Mobile Legend Tournament 3, with the House of Al-Khayyam emerging as victorious.

Remember Khwarizmians, it’s not only about the achievements you bring home, It’s also about the experiences and lessons which makes us real champions of change.

Swish! And the AKIC CUP begins!🐻🐬🦅🦁

For today's agenda, the event started off with a big bang as all houses united for the first activity of the day, the extravagant 𝗠𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗖𝗔𝗗𝗘, where the houses met at Ground Zero and rode until they eventually arrived at the Saharah Rice mill. The ride was quite the vibe as the riders rode their cars and motors with their respective house shirts and with an incredible aura. Instantly, when they arrived at the Sahara rice mill, they prepared themselves as well as their muse and princes for a minute walk to the AKIC SLS gymnasium to gather for the next agenda, The opening Ceremony.

The 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗬 started with a humbling dua and the singing of the national anthem as well as the Bangsamoro hymn led by our beloved teachers from AKIC SLS. Then proceeded with the acknowledgement and welcoming of our guest speaker, 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗔𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹 𝗟𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘁 𝗔𝗹𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗼, the Provincial Sports Coordinator. After all of that, they proceeded with the lighting of the torch with the Prime Minister of the Supreme Student council leading the fire and lighting each of the house representatives torches and eventually lighting the 𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗖 𝗖𝗨𝗣 𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗖𝗛.

Moving on to the 𝙁𝙇𝘼𝙂 𝙍𝘼𝘾𝙄𝙉𝙂 category, what’s that or rather, who's that flying with speed? Or was it running at speed? Was that an eagle🦅? A dolphin🐬? A lion🦁? Or a bear🐻? Oh no! You almost got it! The houses cheered their flag racers with their loud roars, loud splashes, and loud hawking voices. Afterward, 𝗠𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗪𝗗𝗢𝗪𝗡 where they showed off their beautiful housemates with their creative sports attires. Each muse and prince’s from each of the houses showed their incredible dance moves as well as their confidence in modeling. The event washed of all of those things by showing of their house cheers judged by our beloved school administrator as well as our honored guest then took a short break and watched each of the houses' promotional videos. The khwarizmians enjoyed the opening ceremony as it was full of a great variety of activities. These were just the activities during the morning.

After the lunch break, the khwarizmians came back to continue the Akic-Cup Celebration as the afternoon category then begun. For the afternoon categories we have the 𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗭𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗪, 𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗚𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚, and 𝗠𝗢𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗘 𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗦. Each house has their representatives and showcased their intelligence and creativity. And that wraps up the 1st day of this year's AKIC CUP.

We have done it again, Khwarizmians!!

𝙍𝘾-𝘼𝙆𝙄𝘾 𝙎𝙇𝙎 conducted its yearly 𝘽𝙪𝙗𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙁𝙪𝙣 𝙍𝙪𝙣. Khwarizmians and other participants were seen running under the beautiful rays of the sun and the blue sky☀️🏞️.

The top 5 fast runners were determined and are granted cash prizes. But that wasn’t just it! When everyone arrived at the school, they were welcomed with bubbles and colorful splashes of water—feeling like a mermaid underwater 🧜‍♀️.

For a stretching that aids a long run, a 𝙕𝙪𝙢𝙗𝙖 𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚🕺 awaits them on the SLS Gymnasium. Afterward, lucky individuals won 𝙧𝙖𝙛𝙛𝙡𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙨 🎟️ via drawing lots of their given Fun Run ticket numbers.

The Fun Run was totally awesome! Everyone, from students to teachers, was excited to get out there and run. It was so fun seeing all the different colors and everyone cheering each other on. Even if you weren't trying to win, it was still super fun to run with your friends and classmates. It was a great way to get some exercise and show school spirit. It was definitely a day to remember!

The Badminton🏸 and Table tennis🏓 category reached an exciting finale on December 6, 2024. Amidst schoolworks and upcoming exams, Khwarizmians were able to showcase incredible dedication towards extra-curricular activities committing excellence.

As we gather for the 14𝑡ℎ 𝐴𝐾𝐼𝐶 𝑆𝐿𝑆 𝐶𝑈𝑃, victory is necessary so is defeat. Every athlete or player encounters setbacks—injuries, losses, burnout, and periods of self-doubt. How they handle these challenges determines whether they’ll rise or fall. May we value the essence of sportsmanship and hardwork during the play. Again, the game was just not a clash of points, but a testament to the power of perseverance. The winning teams once again proved that with immense effort comes with great achievement.

The Khayyam's men 🦅and Haytham's women🐋 badminton players smashed their way through claiming 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏 in both categories respectively. This two houses displayed incredible agility and strategy proving why they are worthy of the title.

After the victory of the Serene House of Al-Haytham, and the Mighty House of Al-Razi under the Volleyball Women and Men categories respectively the other day.

Today, Volleyball Women playoffs, the Mighty House of Al-Razi led the scoring board over the Serene House of Al-Haytham by 9 points:

In the volleyball women category, the crowd is buzzing as the Al-Haytham , the house of dolphins, prepares to face the reigning champion, the Al-Burzjani, House of the Bears. Al-Haytham, known for their agility and teamwork, is looking to prove their dominance. But the house of Burzjani, with their strength and power, is ready to defend their title. The battle begins!

The whistle blows, and the game is on! The crowd is on its feet, cheering for their respective teams. The game is a back-and-forth battle, with both teams showcasing their strengths. But in the end, Al-Haytham's teamwork play prove too much for the house of Al-Burzjani to overcome. The final point is scored, and the house of Al-Haytham emerge victorious, their cheers echoing through the gym as they celebrate their hard-earned win!

For the Volleyball men, let's get loud for another epic volleyball showdown! We've got Al-Haytham, the House of the Dolphins, ready to take action for the finals. But the House of the Lions, Al-Razi, are on their track, and they're looking forward to show us why they are the champs!

The 3rd playoffs for volleyball showcased the 𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 and 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 of both men and women category this December 3, as the houses of 𝘼𝙡-𝙆𝙝𝙖𝙮𝙮𝙖𝙢 🟢 , 𝘼𝙡-𝙍𝙖𝙯𝙞 🟡 , and 𝘼𝙡-𝘽𝙪𝙧𝙯𝙟𝙖𝙣𝙞 🔴 competed 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘭𝘺 for victory on day 3.

In the women's volleyball category, 𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘶𝘮𝘱𝘩 shone brightly on the house of 𝘼𝙡-𝙆𝙝𝙖𝙮𝙮𝙖𝙢 🟢, achieving an impressive 𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 with a score ratio of 𝟱𝟬:𝟯𝟮 against the house of 𝘼𝙡-𝙍𝙖𝙯𝙞 🟡.

Meanwhile, in the men's volleyball playoffs, the house of 𝘼𝙡-𝘽𝙪𝙧𝙯𝙟𝙖𝙣𝙞 🔴 sealed the match with a 𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭 final serve, defeating the house of 𝘼𝙡-𝙆𝙝𝙖𝙮𝙮𝙖𝙢 🟢 with a score ratio of 𝟱𝟬:𝟰𝟮.

The court was ablaze with energy as The home of Eagles— 𝘈𝘭-𝘒𝘩𝘢𝘺𝘺𝘢𝘮🦅 faced off against the Serene house of 𝘈𝘭-𝘏𝘢𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘮🐬 in an exciting volleyball playoff match. The audience cheered with unrelenting enthusiasm, their voices echoing in the gymnasium as the house players gave their all.

𝘈𝘭-𝘒𝘩𝘢𝘺𝘺𝘢𝘮’s 🦅 players agility on the court was really something to watch. With each powerful serve, the ball seemed to defy gravity as it flew across the net, only to be met by a perfectly timed block or spike. Their seamless coordination was a testament to hours of practice, and their movements left the crowd in awe, as if they were in complete harmony with the game.

With the crowd on their feet, every point felt like a heartbeat. 𝘈𝘭-𝘒𝘩𝘢𝘺𝘺𝘢𝘮’s players displayed unmatched agility and strategy, their teamwork weaving magic on the court. Despite the final score, the players of House 𝘈𝘭-𝘏𝘢𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘮 played with grace and determination, earning respect and admiration from all.

In a breathtaking finish, the scoreboard read 50-46 for the womens category with House Al-Khayyam in favour, and 50-30 for the mens category with, again, House Al-Khayyam in favour—sealing the triumph of 𝘈𝘭-𝘒𝘩𝘢𝘺𝘺𝘢𝘮🦅 against 𝘈𝘭-𝘏𝘢𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘮🐬.

Both of these houses of wisdom played with such heart and grace, making this game truly exciting to watch. Cheers to more moments like this—see you all at the next match!✨
