If you’re obsessed with pastries like me and the fam then you have to check out the new Tiong Bahru Bakery in BGC! 🥐 We fell in love with their food in SG, so I’m sooo happy they’ve finally opened here! Their buttery croissants are so yummy and they even taught us the right way to eat them — dip in coffee, bite, repeat! Brought home 2 boxes for the kids and they were so happy 🙂
It’s an airplane-themed park!!! ✈️ How cool is that? FLIGHT OF DREAMS in Nagoya is built around the first-ever Boeing 787, and it was the perfect stop before our flight. We explored FLIGHT PARK, where the kids played right next to a real airplane (perfect for ages 0–12!) and got to learn all about aviation in a super fun way.
There’s also a shopping and dining area inspired by Boeing’s hometown. And the best part? Admission is free! :)

Felt like a kid again at LEGOLAND® Japan Resort!!! The kids were in heaven, running from one ride to the next and seeing the mini japan LEGO cities for the first time was just AMAZING. The detail in every piece from the Shibuya Crossin, Osaka Castle and Mt. Fuji was amazing and some were even moving!
We got to hop on a few rides and even visited the LEGO Factory to learn how those tiny bricks are made. It was such a fun day not just for the kids but for us parents too 😆

This was our first time staying at a traditional ryokan-style hotel and WOW, what an experience! From the tatami floors and futon bedding to the relaxing private onsen-style bath (hot spring bath — which Lucia enjoyed the most) It was so much fun for the kids... and we honestly wished we booked more days to fully soak it all in. The Japanese kaiseki (multi-course) meals were also soooo good —definitely one of the best meals we’ve had on this trip!

We heard so much about @newbahru and finally got to explore it with the whole family while we were in SG!! The dads had their bonding moment with the girls, personalizing their own adorable Jellycat bunnies at the @seaappleshop . Then, the girls got to design our own pleat bags at @make_ginlee , picking out patterns and fabrics and personalizing it. It was such a fun experience for the whole family.
I super recommend this place for a day out in Singapore 🙂

Fun things to do in Singapore (especially with a big family):
🌸 Cologne workshop at @oola.lab —This was such a unique experience! We got to create scents that felt so personal to each of us. Did you know scent is one of the strongest triggers for memories? Now every time I smell mine, I’ll think of SG!
🍫 Chocolate making at @mrbucketchocolaterie —The kids had the best time getting their hands messy while creating and painting their little masterpieces. Plus, we learned that they use sustainably sourced Asian cacao.. so cool, right? Of course, the tasting part was everyone’s favorite!
🏘 Exploring Katong-Joo Chiat—This area is so charming! The colorful Peranakan shophouses are so pretty and they have stores like the Singapore Trading Post and Cat Socrates that we loved.
It’s moments like these that remind me that travel isn’t just about seeing places… It’s about these moments, the bonding that we all create together. 🫶 Singapore, you’ve been amazing 🙂

Olivia had the best time at the Night Safari in Singapore—the world’s first night zoo! 🌙✨ It was so special taking her and Amelia out while Lucia stayed with the family. She was amazed seeing all the animals awake and active in the dark… it was such a cool and new experience for them!
Did you know the SG Night Safari is home to over 900 animals across 100 species, including tigers, elephants and rhinos.
The highlight of the night? Taking the tram ride through six different zones, from the Himalayan Foothills to the African Savannah and getting to feed the rhino and elephants up close! 🐘 They were a little nervous at first but ended up loving it!
We also caught the “Creatures of the Night” show, it was so fun to see the animals showing off their natural talents!
