Traveling with kids isn’t always easy, but it’s so worth it. ✨ One thing I’ve learned? Patience is key, and if things don’t go as planned, that’s okay too. We’ve learned to delegate and remind the kids that the world is big and full of beautiful places to discover. 🌍💛

Exploring Japan has been such a blessing for our fam —we went to so many new places, new and had lotsa new experiences together. We flew with PAL and even got to check out the new Mabuhay Miles Lounge (and yes, they have Halo-halo). Already planning our next trip. Hehe! Where to next?

What a slow day looks like with Lucia. Now that the kids are back in school, we’re slowly easing into our routine this 2025—just the two of us at home in the mornings ❤️She’s turning two soon and I know these days will pass by quickly…

Through every milestone, from newborn days to toddler adventures, has been there for all my girls—keeping their skin soft and protected 💙

Nara Suisho, Matsusaka Beef “Maruyoshi” Kamada, and Kinshachi Yokocho "Torikai Sohonke"

Exploring some of the best food spots in Nara, Mie, and Aichi! In Nara, we tried some oden (a type of Japanese hotpot) at Nara Suisho, where the dish was beautifully made.

Then, in Mie, we treated ourselves to one of the best meals we had -- Matsusaka Beef at Maruyoshi Kamada. Best beef hands down!

In Nagoya, we went to Kinshachi Yokocho for all the local specialties like miso katsu and hitsumabushi. And for the best oyakodon, we headed to Torikai Sohonke where the chicken and egg were absolute perfection.

Spent the day exploring Nagoya Castle! 🏯 The kids loved roaming around the gardens and checking out the towers. Did you know Nagoya Castle was originally built in the early 1600s by Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first sh**un of the Tokugawa sh**unate? The original castle was actually damaged during World War II and rebuilt in the 1950s. The exterior looks similar to the original, but the interior is now a modern museum. This castle is surrounded by a moat, and I’ve heard it’s beautiful during cherry blossom season! 🌸

Magical night at Nabana no Sato’s Winter Illuminations! ✨🌟 Honestly, it felt like we stepped into a winter wonderland with all those twinkling lights! The kids were amazed and I couldn’t stop taking pictures because it was just that beautiful. From sparkling trees to stunning light displays, everything was so beautiful!

We have goldfish at home, so visiting the Nara Kingyo Museum was such a fun and trippy experience for the kids! The space was surprisingly huge with so many interesting displays around every corner. Some were even interactive, which kept the kids entertained. To be honest, it was pretty relaxing to just watch the goldfish and take it all in :)

We ended our day at Kobe Harbourland with the most stunning view of the city. Riding the ferris wheel was the perfect way to soak it all in... what a beauty! Moments like this make family trips so special :)

Strawberry picking at Awaji Island Fruit Farm 🍓 The kids had the best time, and for the price of around 2200-2500 yen, you can eat as much strawberries as you can for 30 minutes. Nothing beats fresh, juicy strawberries straight from the vine. It really was one of the best ones I have tried :)

Met THE yesterday! When I told the kids I was going they made me bring a note for him to sign and even wrote a note for him. I was so shy to go up but from afar, I held up the note hoping he’d see it and he did…. and pointed at me to come over for a photo! 🥹🤍

I told him… “My 9-year-old daughter loves your food and watches all your shows” He smiled and said, “Too bad she isn’t here. Let me write her a note.” I asked for a quick photo and sent it straight to Oli. She was so happy 🥹

I was so star struck! And by the way, the Beef Wellington? Gahhh, sooooo goooood. I’m still dreaming about it!!

Had a simple and sweet celebration at home for this little lady who just turned 6 🥹 When I asked her what theme she wanted she said “Pink and flowers 🌸” So we got creative and made crepe paper flowers and put them all over the house. We had family over and I cooked all her favorites 💕

Last Friday, she asked for a playdate with her friends so they spent hours in the play area and singing APT until it was time to head home 😂

Happy birthday baby girl. We love you so much ! 💕

After looking at the photos I realized I didn’t even get to have a photo with her 😫

Lucia showing off what she can do ❤️ It’s amazing how much they learn when you build a routine…. even at just 1 year old. I’ve learned it’s about letting them try things on their own, while staying close by to cheer them on (and catch them if needed 😂).

At this age, even the tiniest milestones feel like a big deal and we celebrate them all! 🥰 Knowing her skin is protected with the gentle care of gives me peace of mind as she explores and grows. Supporting them every step of the way inside and out! 💙
