The energy backstage is electric as final touches are made, ensuring that every detail is flawless before they step into the limelight.

𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧'𝗦 𝗔 𝗪𝗥𝗔𝗣! || 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀' 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀.

The Student Council presented all the students' concerns during their dialogue with the administration, but the question lies in the effectiveness of this discussion. They will be updating everyone soon with the details.

With the students' call to action, will the UE Administration take decisive steps, or are these just empty promises? Only time will tell if they truly address the issues or if it's all for show.

Hindi lang 'to puro academics, maraming extra-curricular activities ang inihahandog ng 𝐔𝐄 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲! 😱

As the course might draw its students to do various challenging tasks such as readings, recitations, and other academic activities, here is a glimpse of how we enjoy the course despite the seemingly unending tasks. From its roots as a colonial outpost to its current status as the beating heart of our nation, Manila embodies the enduring strength of our nation. However, beneath its vibrant and colorful streets, Manila carries the weight of complex realities. It grapples with challenges that often go unseen - the struggles of its most vulnerable, the scenes of poverty and loss, and the constant vigilance demanded from its residents. This duality - of beauty and hardship, of progress and inequality - is woven into the very fabric of our capital.

As we honor its legacy, we reflect on the diverse cultures, traditions, and innovations that have shaped its distinct character. On this special day, we pay tribute to the Manileños whose hard work, passion, and ingenuity continue to drive our city forward. 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟕𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲

A historic moment marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of a new journey for our graduates. Amidst the successes we celebrate, we wish to highlight the remarkable 161 Latin honorees who have demonstrated academic excellence throughout their studies.

These outstanding students represent the very best of our institution. Despite challenges and obstacles, they have shown unwavering dedication, diligence, and intellect. Their achievements are not just personal triumphs, but an inspiration to us all.

We celebrate Eid al-Adha, one of the most significant festivals in Islam, and remember the sacrifice and devotion to God. We are reminded to humble ourselves and make sacrifices for a cause greater than our own self-interest.

Let us reflect on the example of sacrifice and dedication as we celebrate this day. May we continue to uphold our cause of achieving justice, peace, and respect for all. In this world rife with conflict, may Eid al-Adha serve as a call to revive the spirit of sacrifice and unity. Let us show that despite differences in religion and culture, we share a common aspiration for peace and progress.

Let us commemorate Eid al-Adha and its profound lesson - unity amidst diversity, and a re-commitment towards building a caring and compassionate society.

On this day, we celebrate the vital role of our fathers- and those who stepped into that role - in the life of a family and society as they provided guidance, protection, and nurturing to our homes and communities.

We salute all fathers who sacrifice and strive day after day to give their children a better future. They pave the way to success and courageously face life's challenges with unwavering dedication. But it is not only fathers who deserve praise today. We also honor the father figures - uncles, grandfathers, older siblings, or anyone who stepped in as a paternal figure in a child's life. We applaud the single mothers who raised their children alone, taking on the responsibilities of both parents.

We recognize their vital contribution to steering our nation towards a more just and equitable society. They embody a model of leadership grounded in integrity, justice, and compassion for others. Let us join them in forging a better tomorrow for the next generation.

Ngayong Araw ng Kalayaan, muling ginugunita natin ang diwa ng ating mga bayaning nagsikap upang mabawi ang ating kalayaan. Ang kanilang tapang at sakripisyo ang nagsilbing pundasyon ng bansang ating minamahal - isang bansa na nagbibigay-daan sa malayang pag-unlad at pagpapahayag ng ating mga mamamayan.

Ipinagdiriwang din natin ang kalayaang ipahayag ang ating mga tinig at ipaglaban ang ating mga adhikain. Patuloy naming ipaparinig ang ating boses upang maitaguyod ang katarungan, paggalang sa karapatang pantao, at pagkakapantay-pantay para sa lahat. Ipagdiwang ang ating pagkakaiba-iba at magkaisa sa paghubog ng isang lipunang bukas, matiwasay, at pantay-pantay para sa lahat. Ating ingatan ang alaala ng ating mga bayani at ipagpatuloy ang laban para sa tunay na kalayaang matagalng ipinagkait.

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH 🏳️‍🌈

As we enter the month of June, the UE PSS Society's Newsletter strengthens its commitment to serving as vocal advocates for the LGBTQ+ community. We celebrate the pioneering activists whose sacrifices and persistence brought us to this point, while recognizing that the march toward full equality is far from over. The community still face unacceptable levels of discrimination, violence, and institutional barriers. This month, we rededicate ourselves to the pursuit of a society where every person can live authentically, free from hatred or fear.

We call on leaders at all levels to enshrine comprehensive protections for the LGBTQ+ community into law and policy. Representation matters - we must amplify LGBTQ+ voices and experiences across all spheres. Most crucially, we implore everyone to join their cause for a better and more equal society. Only through solidarity can we create a stronger, more just environment where our LGBTQ+ peers, friends, and family can thrive.

"BANDILA NG PAKIKIBAKA, SAGISAG NG KALAYAAN"

Sa kadiliman ng mapait na nakaraan, ang bawat hibla ng watawat ng Pilipinas ay naging simbolo ng damdamin ng sambayanang Pilipino - ang kanilang pangarap ng kalayaan at kapayapaan.

P**a na sumisimbolo sa sagisag ng dugo ng mga bayaning nagbuwis ng kanilang buhay para sa kalayaan at kapayapaan.

Puti na ang taglay ay kalinawan at kadakilaan ng isip at kalooban ng bawat Pilipino na buong pusong nananangan sa katarungan at demokrasya.

At ang Asul na kulay na nagpapakita ng matatag na katapatan at kagitingan, ipinaaalaala sa atin ang makapangyarihang hangarin para kay Inang Bayan sa ating pambansang pamana at diwa.

Habang iwinawagayway ang bandilang Pilipino sa simoy ng hanging nagtataglay ng adhikain ng Kalayaan, mananatili itong laging nakabigkis sa diwa at damdamin ng bawat mamamayang Pilipino. Hindi ito mawawala sa kanyang tunay na kabuluhan - isang watawat na nagsasagisag ng dignidad at katapangan, isang alaala ng pag-ibig at kapayapaan.

Mabuhay ang watawat ng Pilipinas! Mabuhay ang sambayanang Pilipino!

Mothers are the guiding lights that illumine our paths, the unsung heroes whose sacrifices pave the way for our growth and success. Their embrace is a sanctuary, a soft place to land after life's storms. Their wisdom is a compass, steering us through challenges with grace and patience. From the first cry that ushers us into the world, mothers are there, cradling us with a love so vast, so profound, that it fortifies our very souls. They are our fiercest cheerleaders, celebrating each triumphant step, and our most tender consolers when we stumble. Their resilience is unparalleled as they juggle responsibilities with astounding fortitude, ensuring our futures burn bright.

To all mothers, birthing or not, biological or adopted, single or partnered, we honor you. Your strength is immeasurable, and your devotion is unmatched. You are the lifeblood of our society, the lodestars who guide us to our highest selves. We are who we are because you loved us first.
