LOVE grows not only by what we do, but also by our reason for doing it. The LORD wants us to do what is right, and to do so out of love. He loved us even before we repented from our sins and turned to Him. It is for this reason that
we should learn how to love each other because GOD first loved us.

Daniel stood alone. Although he knew about the law against praying to anyone except the king, he continued to pray three times a day as he always had. Daniel had a disciplined prayer life (Daniel 6:10).

Our prayers are usually interrupted not by threats, but simply by the pressures of our schedules.
Don't let threats or pressures cut into your prayer time. Pray regularly, no matter what, for prayer is our lifeline to GOD.

When the foundations are shaking and you wish you could hide, remember that GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL.
His power is not diminished by any turn of events. Nothing happens without His knowledge and permission.

When you feel like running away - RUN TO GOD. He will restore justice and goodness on the earth in His own good time.

Let us hold on to the hope we say we have and not be changed. We can trust God that He will do what He promised.

Let us help each other to love others and to do good.

Let us not stay away from church meetings. Some people are doing this all the time. Comfort each other as you see the day of His return coming near.

At the beginning of each new year, some people give predictions about the economy, politics, weather, and a host of other topics. Will there be war or peace? Poverty or prosperity? Progress or stagnation? People everywhere are hoping that this year will be better than last, or at least a bail-out from miseries - but no one really knows what will happen. Except GOD who is in control of everything, the only ONE who knows and has been in the future. The ONE who said, "Do not be afraid! I am the FIRST and the LAST."

If we meditate in GOD'S Word daily, it will influence our thoughts and help us grow to be more like our LORD JESUS (2 Cor 3:18). Then we will act in a manner that pleases Him. Pressure of the world will continue to try to shape our character, but they will not succeed if GOD'S Word is changing us from within.
