Joross Gamboa: “Dati nung makamundo pa ako— bisyo, alcohol, dr*gs, babae kumbaga, wordly halos lahat ng bisyo ko. Alam mo, yung ginagawa ng mga makamundong tao is striving for happiness.
Ang pinaka main goal ko noon sa buhay ay maging happy which is mali. Happiness is based on happenings. Masaya tayo ngayon kasi buhay parents natin, wala tayong sakit, may trabaho tayo, maganda grades natin, meron kang bagong gamit pero paano kapag nawala lahat yun? So, nakabase yung happiness sa happenings.”
“Ngayon, ang kailangan natin sa buhay is yung JOY. Joy is from within, hindi siya apektado ng circumstances and situation.
The only one who can complete your heart is the one who created you.
Nilo-look forward mo, ah next week may sweldo, makakapag shopping o makakakain sa labas with family.
What Joross said makes a lot of sense. Many of us spend our lives chasing things like money, success, or relationships, thinking these will make us happy. But the truth is, those things don’t last. Once they’re gone, we feel empty again.
For those reading or hearing this, it’s important to ask yourself: “What am I really looking for in life? Is it just happiness, or is it lasting peace and joy?” This doesn’t mean it’s wrong to want good things in life, but we need to remember that they can’t fill the void in our hearts.
You don’t have to figure everything out or carry the weight alone. If you want true joy, start with a simple step—get to know God.
Pray, read His Word (the Bible), and reflect on your purpose in life. You’ll be surprised that as your relationship with Him grows, your life’s direction will become clearer. And that’s when you’ll experience a “joy” that no material thing can ever give.
