The Letran SHS Department and H.J. Atienza Elementary School officially sealed their partnership through an MOU Contract Signing for the Numeracy & Literacy Tutorial Program last November 12, 2025.

The event featured warm messages from Rev. Fr. Patricio P. Hiwatig, OP, Vice President for Religious Affairs, and both school principals, Ms. Geraldine C. Lagmay, MBIED and Mr. Wilfredo C. Nillo, with Mr. Michael John P. Maglaque, Director of Letran College, Manila - Community Extension Department , serving as program moderator.

The Letran team later visited HJAES, where Fr. Hiwatig shared a short and meaningful meet-and-greet with their elementary students.

Here’s to fostering learning, service, and community development—one child at a time. 🌟📚

Mayari is said to have both divine might and a human connection because she is the daughter of Bathala, the highest god of creation, and a mortal woman. She was a goddess, a warrior, and a leader who resisted even her own brother, the sun god Apolaki.

Beyond mythology, Mayari is now a cultural symbol. She is frequently reinterpreted as a symbol of feminine strength and autonomy in literature, art, music, and contemporary narrative.

Today, October 31, the night has fallen upon us to celebrate the day of horror and spooky stories, Halloween. Beware of wandering ghosts and prepare your candies for this special day to ward off the evil spirits.

Halloween, also known as All Hallows' Eve, stems from the Celtic celebration of Samhain, marking the end of harvest season and the beginning of the Celtic New Year. It is believed that during this time, the barrier between the realm of spirits and the real world grows weak, wherein lighting bonfires and wearing costumes is believed to ward off ghosts.
