Squid Game Season 2......

It's a good follow to the global phenomenon which is the first season, but I can't help but feel that there was something missing from this. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed it as much as the first season with its quirky kids games, world building, relatable and lovable characters and also the worst kinds of people.

But after finishing all 7 episodes I felt that some story lines and characters where underutilized this season for the grand finale that is season 3 which will be premiering on Netflix next year. I get that the games are very important and that is the main appeal of squid game, but I would have loved to see more development from the outside people and see more of their progress rather than it being repeated over and over again "we need to get there", "we have certain number of days left", " I narrowed it down ".

The games on the other hand as well as it's players are very fun to watch too, the same as the first season but with a few twists here and there... this season is more action focused and darker than the 1st one and I love it! Though again after the credits rolled, I can't help but feel that this season is like a big teaser of Season 3 😅

Overall it was a great watch! Good thing that we don't have to wait a long long time for season 3!

Christmas Platinum!!!! #304: Cuphead

Time: 30+ hrs
Difficulty: 6/10
Fun: 10/10 ( yes even sa pacifist runs )

Part 3 ng games from the nakama game access of The Gamesilog Show! This time Cuphead.... Matagal ko na iniiwasan tong game na to ever since pa bago ako maging trophy hunter kasi alam ko na mahirap siya as in, yung Difficulty niya is not for everybody pero kaya naman matapos need lang talaga ng madaming patience at practice!

Not at all a difficult game naman for me, kahit need mo I clear na A rank all bosses, 1 S rank Boss at all bosses on Expert Mode. Ang Nagpahirap talaga sa plat na to is yung all 6 run and gun levels cleared with a Pacifist Rank ( meaning wala ka pwede patayin na kalaban ) 2 levels out of 6 ang technically mahirap pero ung Perilous Piers Talaga yung mapapa WTF ka nalang sa kadayaan hahahaha.

First time ko din to nilaro, cguro a few times nakapanood na ako ng Trophy hunting YouTube gameplay pero matagal na panahon na yun, kaya mahirap talaga yung game lara sakin at start. Pero once na kuha ko na yung timing ng parries at naaral na yung patterns ng bosses EZ Clap nalang talaga!

Diko din inexpect na makukuha ko siya ng Christmas kasi nga dahil doon sa pacifist runs pero... ( hayana niyo na ako magmayabang ) mataas na pala skill level ko at patience when it comes to difficult games 😅

Another Entry from the Nakama Game Access of The Gamesilog Show ! Sabi sa Trophy Hunting websites this is a 7/10 Game in terms of getting the Platinum Trophy, to some extent I agree if casual gamer ka lang at di ka sanay sa difficult metroidvania games or difficult games in general. Pero para saakin di naman siya ganun kahirap kasi mabilis ako nakakapag adapt sa mga kalaban at especially sa mga boss.

Sa story naman di ako makakapag comment.... kasi aamin na ako, nag skip cutscene lang ako 😭😭😭. Pero ung art style at aesthetic ng game is also 10/10. Plus yung naka loop pa ng back ground song is *Chef's Kiss. Gameplay as you expect sa mga metroidvania ay maganda din! Mas Lalo na sa platforming dito ako pinakanatuwa aside sa mga boss fight. Kasi nag experiment ako kung paano maabot yung mga hard to reach places for flights and other accessories ( without knowing na may specific upgrades na need para makuha sila ng mas madali ). Eh nung napansin ko na may kakaiba sa animation ni Silva naka discover ako ng height boosting hehehe.

So overall if you are a metroidvania fan this is a must play!

Firstly, Thank you ng maraming marami kay sir TGP - The Generics Playroom sa pagpapahiram ng Game of the Year 2024!

Secondly, Grabe yung game habang nilalaro ko siya lagi ako nakangiti 😆, hindi ko alam kung dahil nag eenjoy ako, natutuwa ako sa nakikita ko or yung feeling lang na nararamdaman ko habang niallaro yung ASTRO BOT yung nagpapangiti saakin.

If you loved playing Astro's Playroom for sure mas magugustuhan mo to, hindi lang dahil sa dami ng content in game, hindi lang din dahil sa dami ng collectibles and Easter eggs sa game at hindi lang din dahil sa ibat ibang mechanics na naintroduce, maeenjoy mo yung game dahil basically ginawa siya para mag enjoy ka.

Naka cater ang ASTRO BOT para sa lahat ng klase ng gamers, pero for sure ang mga veteran gamers natin at kahit yung mga knowledgeable at madami ng experience sa gaming ay ang main audience neto dahil mas something new and classic for everyone!

Hindi ko lang din alam kung bakit nung nag roll na yung credits eh bigla nalang ako napuno ako ng emosyon kaya napaluha ako slight hahaha, sa lahat ng nalaro ko this year FF7 Rebirth lang tsaka eto nagparamdam saakin nun kaya tanggap ko na GOTY 2024 ito. Pero FF7 Rebirth padin personal GOTY ko!

Pag-iipunan ko to oara magkaroon ako sariling copy hehehe.

One of the best platforming games of our generation! Amazing story, soundtrack and the mechanics of the game seems to be so simple at first glance but you just barely scratched the surface when it comes to moving fast and perfectly in this game.

This game is a speedrunning game in disguise as a Platformer 🤣, of course speedrunning it isn't a requirement. You can play this game however you want. The most challenging part of getting this Platinum Trophy is obviously the C side Trophy but I just thought of it as a short but painful grind.

The muscle memory/ routing from pc came in handy while attempting to get the Platinum for Celeste because if I played this game blindly it would take a lot longer than 10hrs 😅

Big thanks to the Nakama Game Access of The Gamesilog Show for the opportunity to again play Celeste but this time on The Playstation 5 😁

Wowow ngayon lang ako naka catch up sa happenings sa TGA 2024! CONGRATS ASTRO BOT ( GOTY 2024 ). Madami din surprise and unexpected game announcements for everyone. Though di nanalo FF7 Rebirth happy ako para sa ASTRO Bot for GOTY 2024.

Ang pinaka magandang balita naman for this years TGA is nakuha na din ng Balatro yung deserved na recognition niya at nakapag uwi pa ng 3 awards 🥹. Sad na di ko napanood live mas Lalo na yung Orchestra pero lagi naman panalo mga gamers!

EDIT: nakapag isip isip na ako hahaha pero it was still an alright movie, before watching this ang alam NY karamihan is Remake or Reboot ito ng The Thing 1982 pero while watching it ma rerealize mo na prequel siya.

Kaya diko lang gets kung bakit may ganto pa knowing kung ano ang mangyayari sa team na naka discover sa alien and what comes after. Pero for what it's worth it's an ok movie that you can watch 1 time just to experience it pero mas worth it na ulitin mo nakang yung the thing 1982.

One last thing, Mary Elizabeth Winstead is just 😍, she and Joel Edgerton made this a somewhat good movie because I am familiar with those 2 actors!

While watching this earlier I remembered that my parents watched this movie one time when I was a kid, but anything about the movie didn't register in my brain so i don't remember watching it with them til now.

Now I'm old enough to watch these types of movies and to process them properly and I can now saw that this movie is amazingly terrifying in all levels! The practical effects for the monster and it's transformation still holds up til this day and stands out as one of the most terrifying monsters in cinema! the plot is ok too! but sorry I thought of among us immediately 😭

there isn't a lot of jumpscares and that is completely fine because that isn't needed here, the transformation of the creature and the situation that the characters are put in is enough to make you feel on edge and unsettled.

There isn't anything new that you can pick up from my review that hasn't already been said by many many people and horror enthusiasts alike, just know that I LOVED THIS MOVIE!
