ARREST OF ONE (1) PERSON FOR VIOLATION OF RA 9165

Mangaldan, Pangasinan- Personnel of Mangaldan MPS in coordination with PDEA RO1, arrested a 40 years old, married, Motorcycle Mechanic, and a resident of Mangaldan, Pangasinan, during a buy-bust operation on January 14, 2025.

The suspect was arrested after he sold one piece of a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu and has an estimated aggregated weight of 10 grams with SDP of Php 68,000.00.

The arrested suspect is now under the custody of this unit as of this date.

OPLAN SITA/CHECKPOINT OPERATION
Several OPLAN SITA/Checkpoint operations are being conducted by personnel of Mangaldan PNP in Brgy. Embarcadero, Mangaldan, Pangasinan today, January 14, 2025.
This kind of operation is part of the intensified anti-criminality efforts of the PNP against all forms of criminality and lawlessness. Apart from this, is the implementation of the traffic laws through proper checking of all registrations, driver's licenses and other documents of the vehicles and motorists in Mangaldan.

SIMULTANEOUS COMELEC CHECKPOINT

On January 12, 2025, Personnel of Mangalan Police Station led by PLTCOL ROLDAN E CABATAN, COP, together with Mrs. Gloria S Cadiente, Comelec Officer of Mangaldan, Pangasinan conducted Pre-deployment and established Comelec checkpoint along National Highway of Brgy Embarcadero,Mangaldan, Pangasinan for the strict implementation of 'Nationwide Prohibition on the Carrying of Fi****ms by unauthorized individuals in connection with the 2025 National and Local Elections.

The primary objective of these checkpoints is to ensure the safety and security of the public and to apprehend individuals violating the Omnibus Election Code of the Philippines.

PAGASA ANNOUNCES THE ONSET OF LA NIÑA 2025

Ayon sa ulat ng PAGASA, umiiral na ang La Niña sa tropical Pacific. Ang La Niña ay isang natural na phenomenon na may epekto sa panahon ng bansa, kung saan nagdadala ito ng mas maraming ulan kaysa karaniwan.

Mga Posibleng Epekto ng La Niña:

Matitinding pag-ulan
Maaaring magdulot ng pagbaha, lalo na sa mabababang lugar.
Posibleng magkaroon ng landslide o pagguho ng lupa sa mga bulubunduking rehiyon.
Pamumuo ng mga sama ng panahon.

Tumataas ang posibilidad ng mas maraming bagyo na maaaring mabuo o pumasok sa Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
Panahon ng tag-ulan.

Mas madalas at mas malalakas na ulan ang mararanasan, lalo na mula Enero hanggang Marso ngayong taon.
Upang makatiyak siguraduhing may sapat na suplay ng pagkain, tubig, gamot, at iba pang pangangailangan.
Samantala patuloy na subaybayan ang mga ulat ng panahon mula sa PAGASA at iba pang ahensya.
Huwag magpunta sa mga lugar na madaling bahain o maaaring gumuho. Maghanda ng evacuation plan para sa pamilya at makipag-ugnayan sa mga lokal na awtoridad.

Ang La Niña ay hindi dapat balewalain dahil maaari itong magdulot ng malaking pinsala sa mga ari-arian at kaligtasan ng mamamayan. Mahalaga ang pagiging alerto at maagap upang mapanatiling ligtas ang lahat.

PNP personnel of this station led by PLTCOL ROLDAN E CABATAN, COP, attended the Orientation on Automated counting machine (ACM) Road show held in 3rd Floor Mangaldan Police Station, in connection with the May 12, 2025 National and Local Elections conducted by Mrs. Gloria S Cadiente, Comelec Officer of COMELEC MANGALDAN.

During the activity, Madam Cadiente explained to them their duties and responsibilities for the upcoming NATIONAL AND LOCAL ELECTION 2025 on May 12, 2025.

Ipagbabawal ang pagdadala ng baril simula Enero 12 kasabay ng pagsisimula rin ng official campaign para sa May 2025 midterm elections.

Paglilinaw ng PNP, exempted lamang sa gun ban ay ang mga law enforcement agency, justice, judge at cashiers na may dala-dalang malalaking halaga ng pera.

Ang mga indibidwal na gusto at legal na magdala ng baril ay dapat kumuha ng certificate of authority sa Comelec.
Nanawagan ang pambansang pulisya sa publiko na gawing mapayapa ang panahon ng eleksyon sa bansa.
Magkakaroon din ng Comelec Checkpoints bukod pa sa PNP checkpoints na itinalaga sa ibat ibang parte ng bansa.
