The Mandaue Chapter's 2024 Christmas Party was held last December 7, 2024, at Big Hotel was themed "Denim and Devotion".
According to Ann Marie Sanchez, head of the Programs and Services, this theme was chosen because Denim is our attire, and it is universally loved and worn by people of all age and background. It symbolizes unity and inclusivity.
Devotion reflects our BCBP community's shared faith and purpose.
Denim's durability and classic nature can be a metaphor for our community's strong and enduring bond. It reflects a sense of connection, both to each other and to our shared values. During the event, the Keoni Hall entrance was bedecked with red and green balloons and on the side was an idyllic setting for pictorials with a chair next to a fireplace and a Christmas tree with lights.
The event started with a Eucharistic celebration presided by Fr. Jerry Joaquin OVM.
Members dressed in their denim attires came ready to party.
Our master of ceremonies for the night were Madelyn and John Clifford Alon. They were a fantastic pair as they led the members to participate in the fun games and contests. Each Unit was asked to present a Tiktok song and dance performance and the very prepared Unit C was declared champion.
A raffle was drawn and several lucky members excitedly won prizes.
A live band provided music for grooving and dancing as the party progressed.
All throughout the night, there was fun, laughter and camaraderie among those present.
Special thanks are extended to our Programs and Services Head Michael and Ann Marie Sanchez who made the party possible with the help and support of some of our community members.
Wishing everyone a grace filled Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous New Year ahead!
