Ma provide nga ba ni God and needs natin? Here's a video that I hope would somehow explain the answer to our BIG question.

19/08/2024

I RAN INTO THE QUESTION - "how would I know if it's God's plan or it's a direction or decision that I did for myself?"

Sometimes it's hard to understand whether what we are faced with is God's plan for us or if it's something we desire to have. Let us first define what really is God's plan..

1. God's plan is for each and everyone to hear the salvation that comes from Chris.
2. To those who hear and accepted and believe the salvation thru Jesus Christ and His Lordship on our life, we are now co-heirs in Christ being member of God's household.
3. Being part of God's household means we have a direct access to the Father through Jesus and able to gain God's wisdom through the Holy Spirit.
4. By having the Holy Spirit, we are now part of God's royal family. We are the ambassador of God's goodness and good news.
5. As we walk according to the Holy Spirit and as we do what God's way and His plan by being the salt and light on earth, everything else in your life would just be a supplement to be able to live the life of God's purpose to share the gospel according to His plan. So that many will come to know more of Christ.

Now that we know God's plan, we should be confident that our needs will be met. It is written in His Words that He will provide all our NEEDS (Phil 4:19). What does it mean with our day to day needs and when we ought to decide about where to work or what business to do, and other things - lift it to God because those are our needs. Our needs will be met and answered through Him. Do not seek an specific answer that would say "this is the job" rather believe that when God answers, the one that you are looking for, God already answers all the needs that you have lifted to Him.

So what do we do, list all our prayers and petitions, send them to God in prayers, do not stress out on God's answer because He will, and focus on getting to know Him more through His word and being the Salt and Light in which He purpose and planned our life to be.

Blessings!

MYSTERY REVEALED!

I was reading book of Ephesians Chapters 2:17-22 through 3:1-10, and these are all my take-away that most of the time Gentiles like myself have not much appreciation because it came so easily to us.

1. Through Jesus Christ, we have now access to God the Father and His Holy Spirit.

2. If we believe in the Salvation made available by God through His Son Jesus, then that access will be fully opened for everyone who sincerely believe and accept Jesus Christ Lordship.

3. What will it do to me? Full transformation! Now that we have an access to God and the Holy Spirit, we have access to the unlimited wisdom of God. Those unlimited wisdom is the true power to be able to understand and process the knowledge we gain, and be able to do the things that we ought to do in full measure. Wisdom from God is incomparable to any wisdom attained through reading books or listening to wise people, because it is the wisdom from our Creator. Think of the computer game, the best way to know how to win it well is to know how the game creator, the master, prepared and planned the game.

4. With the transformation, we have become part and member of God's household. In our temporary dwelling here on earth, we become God's dwelling place here until all of us ascends in heaven like Jesus did. We are the composition of church where the Holy Spirit dwells. The work of God is being made in and through us the believers, not in the 4 corners of a church building. We are His church, therefore we are His feet and mouthpiece. As we walk and talk, God walks and talks through us.

5. Jews being the chosen race was not made aware of this kind of mystery before Paul, that we gentiles are part of God's plan. God has us in His mind even when He chose a nation that shows us His loving grace and kindness as He walked alongside them on their journey in the old times.

6. Now that this mistery had been revealed, we ought to embrace this with so much gratitude and praise, why? Because this is the salvation that can never be found elsewhere. A way to heaven, a redemption to holiness, the path to God's household and becoming God's royal children. Wherelse can we find such a gracious gift unfolded for us?

7. It is never an easy duty to be part of God's household, it is even an impossible way of life. But the one living in us, the Holy Spirit of God is the way of impossibilities. He alone can make impossible, possible. So everytime we breathe, we praise. For those are the true breath of life of God.

We praise God and live through Him because He is the redeemer of us all.

As I was reading the book of Ephesians, because it is one of my favorite book, I thought it would just another pass through.... but God with His infinite wisdom knows how much more do I need to learn and understand.

1. Eph 2:1-3
Focuses on the kind of lifestyle we gentiles live, self-indulgent who just go and lavishes with the passion that we have in our fleshly desires (lust of the eyes, lust of of the flesh, and pride of life). Comparable to the nature of the fallen. God's anger and judgement are not arbitrary, it is directed to all mankind. No one is exempted.

2. Eph 2: 4-7
God's character and nature that surpasses His anger and judgement, of which I am so blessed to understand and experience. Because God is a merciful, loving, gracious and kind God, even with His anger, He made a way for all of us to be saved from His eternal wrath.

3. Eph 2:8-9
Saved by God's grace through faith in Christ Jesus. This is the very gift that God had done and is being offered to every human being. One is to One. A person's gift cannot be accepted by another on their behalf, it is very personal. The gift that was done and sealed and prepared for you. This gift costs the death and resurrection of Christ, a gift that nobody deserves, therefore it is a gift that cannot be paid or worked on to be deserved by anybody. Not even ones life to be sacrificed can repay or earn that gift. So yes, your good works is not a point to earn your ticket to heaven, because you do not need to. Your ticket has been paid, all you have to do is sincerely received God's gift of salvation to you.

4. Eph 2:10
And why do we even do good works if it's not a way to earn my way to heaven?
Good works is actually a result, a by-product of you having received the gift of salvation. Because you receive Christ as your Lord and Savior by believing and accepting what He did for you on the cross - now you get to wear the gift, that gift of salvation comes in a package full of transformation. You are now a royalty, belonging to God's Kingdom, co-heir of Christ, and ambassador of good. The package comes with a new identity in Christ. Your good works is a result of a total transformation that comes with the gift of God for you.
He has His whole program of the way of life by giving you the Holy Spirit that will guide you and explain to you the ways of being a royal child of God.
So, yes we still do good works, not because we have to earn the favor of God, but because God desires for you to walk accordingly for your good which can only be found in Him, through the gift He has for you.

5. Eph 2: 11-16
Paul's statement here is that all of us who gain this knowledge and accepted God's gift is no longer a person called gentile or jew, but a person who belongs to God, a co-heir in Christ Jesus. We are already one in the body.

May we all find the wonderful gift of God and receive it wholeheatedly. For the blessings are yours to keep as how God specifically meant for it to be.

Blessings!

Paano nga ba mag highlight sa Bible kapag nagbabasa tayo?

There are no concrete rules na kailangang sundi, there are just experiences and best practices that people do when they study the word of God. Most of the people do it differently, and I hope you'll navigate yours as personal as it can be.

Eto ang isang video na pwede mong panoodin to check if makakatulong ba ito sayo.

It's like a riddle but it's not.

When Jesus compared heaven into a choice pearls, what do you think He meant?

It means that when you discover what the real heaven is and what awaits you in eternity, everything that you owns or possess here on earth (riches, honor, power, privileges, possessions) would be incomparable.

It means that when we fully understand what God prepared for our eternity is incomprehensible that we would be willing to let go of everything else just to be in heaven.

It means, nothing here could ever be worth trading for the life awaits us in eternity.

So, do not be afraid of your possessions for everything here is temporal. Look forward to what you can hope to live in eternity and start investing on that future that awaits you. But how? You invest by first seeking the kingdom of God - and His kingdom here on earth, is the knowledge and wisdom that would reside in us when we receive the Holy Spirit upon declaring that your life is surrendered and belongs to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

Matthew 13:45-46 NLT
[45] “Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant on the lookout for choice pearls. [46] When he discovered a pearl of great value, he sold everything he owned and bought it!

Paris 2024 Olympics opening ceremony....

Many religious leaders, not just Christian denomination raised their thoughts and opinions on the matter. A lot of people condemned the act citing it's insensitivity and mockery on the Christian faith. Many people used it as an advantage to push their own intentions using the topic to prove a point, and a lot of people has not reach the peace they need even to this day when the people behind the presentation had spoken and provided their clarification.

I can only imagine the hurt that the people felt who follows Jesus being our Savior and Lord, because we all knew deep in our hearts and minds that whatever Jesus has done and have endured are more than enough to crushed our spirits. We are feeling the pain Jesus felt when He dragged the cross, nailed on the very cross He was carrying, tortured by the thorny crown and the way He breathe His last, and was even pierced on His side to make sure He is dead. I get it, we share the pain and thus we share the sacredness of all that Jesus did while He was still alive as a man 'til the time He rose from the dead before ascending to the Father. We put Jesus above all else with the highest honor and regard in every way, and we ought to protect the truth that He has so graciously gave us..

The truth - that Jesus died once and for all. He died and rose again on the third day to show how nothing and no one can hold Him, not even death. He put His life so that we can live. And that life that He gave, starts when you receive Him and what He had accomplished on the cross.

Jesus called us to go and make disciples of all the nation, to show the life He modelled to us with the kind of love that until now I can never fully define, to exhibit the kind of love where grace abounds, to be the salt and light to the people who would witness us bearing His Name. He even reminded us that we will face retalation same way that He did, mockery, and hate from the people who doesn't know Him. And with all that He showed, and all that He told us to do, I haven't seen anything that would tell me to quarrel, to fight, to battle with people (we are even reminded that our battle is not againt flesh and blood but the principalities of this world).

More than being right, we are called to a highest calling, "love just as I have loved you"... I understand the need to rebuke those who we expect should know the Word, I understand that we should bear witness for the truth, but when we do, we also have to be sure that we uphold to our calling, we say the truth in love.
For if we don't, what difference do we exhibit to those who sees us and does not know the Lord? Do we bring honor to His name by winning an argument and eventually loses a soul because we are "so right" on our argument but we are so foolish in our actions towards them?

As Christians we are not promised a life free of all these things (mockery, gloat, sarcasm, hatred, etc) from the world, on the contrary we should expect these things. And yet, I have not found in the bible for us to engage in debate or win an argument or sue those who malign God, and that's what I call the kind of calling where we would always come to Jesus feet in humility to seek His will and direction on how to be shielded from the deception and lies of the enemy to divide His people and His church. I am not saying we should not do something, but when we ought to do something, we ought to go first to Jesus.

I don't know what's the real motive of those who did the opening number in the olympics, but I know why it is a big deal to many of us because it is world wide. But what I know is that even if we do not know the truth behind it all, they have since issue an apology. Many could argue that it is a shallow apology just to appease many but I am not God that can see through their hearts or know their ultimate reason. But I know God does see it. God alone can turn something bad in to good for those who love Him.

Now, what are we going to do? Since they apologized, do we feel we get to say how or what they should be held accountable?
For our fellow Christ follower who we disagree with, do we continue to argue with them - when can we say it is done?

One thing I know, these people who did it and since apologized, could also be the people whom Jesus wanted Himself to be known. Arguing and condeming them on what they did regardless of their intention is not a call Jesus told us to do. Sharing the gospel is not about winning the debate. Gospel is shedding light into an already dark world. Unloving debate or arguments does not come out as a light, might actually contribute to a further darkening world.

I guess it is something we need to lift to God in prayer to be able to get wisdom of discernment and understanding.

I am not saying we just brush it off and move on, but I am saying, sincerely, ask God what's next. His answer for you might not be the same with me. But all I know is that if we are true followers of Christ, our actions should always be dependent on how Christ led you after you talk to Him.

I GET WHAT SHE MEANT, pero....

just my opinion, for Christians who reacted or have no reaction just like her, because they could have viewed the presentation as feast of Dionysus, I felt that the way her message was delivered and the commentary about the same people who shared the same faith with her (being reactive, unthinking, unreasonable), belonging to the same body of Christ, lacks the message of Christ in JOHN 13:34-35.

We could all argue what the presentation in the Olympics meant, and those who are in the faith and who have been offended could have their valid reason on a different perspective. However, I still feel that if we are to share our position and opinions about our fellow followers of Christ, we may want to read it a hundred times to check if it's edifying to the body and beneficial to those whom would read your post.

However, she may have some points that could have triggered the reason why she posted it that way. Maybe, I am also coming into a position where I also failed to give her grace by posting this, and if it is, I would like to apologize to Rica.

But, I also wanted to call our fellow belivers to not just post, or not even just think before you post, but most importantly, to pray before you post.

In essential we stand firmly,
Everything else we should give grace.

WE OUGHT TO PRAY LIKE DANIEL.

With all the craziness that we are witnessing, calamities, hardships, wars and rumors of wars, oppression, sometimes it's hard to focus and think on the best way to get around it.

There are times when we post our opinions in social media, hoping we get heard if we feel the government must do something about it. Sometimes, we try to figure out ourselves how to send or lend help to those who are in need. Madalas tayo ang nasa posisyon na nangangailangan ng tulong.

Then I remembered a person. This person who was taken captive and was a victim of war, whom God protected to be able to be used for His future plans (but this person doesn't know that), yet His heart is in the right place. Alam nya that all the problems that he and his entire nation is facing is bigger and greater than just his voice and on what he can just offer. BUT GOD... Daniel knew God. He knew that God worked and continuously working in His life. He knew that if there is anyone greater than his and his brethrens situation, it is God who can help them.

So, Daniel never get tired of praying and worshipping God kahit sa pagkakataon na nailagay ang buhay nya sa panganib. Sya si Daniel who was brough sa den ng mga mababangis na gutom na mga leon, because He chose to pray and worship the Lord despite the law to only worship the king of the land that time.

Daniel knew God, and to Him only he devoted his worship and cling upon God's grace towards him and the entire nation of Israel. And with his faithful prayer, God made miracles to free them out of captivity from Babylon.

Let us be like Daniel in prayer. Let us all be faithful to God every minute of everyday. Let us not be drown into the sea of problem, but see that God is greater for He is the creator of the universe. Anything and everything that could harm us, God has power over them.

Daniel 6:10-11 NLT
[10] But when Daniel learned that the law had been signed, he went home and knelt down as usual in his upstairs room, with its windows open toward Jerusalem. He prayed three times a day, just as he had always done, giving thanks to his God. [11] Then the officials went together to Daniel’s house and found him praying and asking for God’s help.

SOMETIMES IT'S HARD TO MAKE TIME

But if we don't we are missing out on what is important. Palagi kong iniisip pagkagising ko anong bago ngayon, kasi it is another day right?

Anong balita?
Anong pinagkakaabalahan sa mga community groups?
Am I building a community that talks about life building and faith strengthening?
Anong mga chicka sa group chat ng family namin.
Kamusta yun mga friends ko?
Nasan na ang bagyo?

A lot of things goes to mind the moment I opened my eyes. And these things, you don't have just a day to deal with everything all at once. That is why you have to make time on what is important.

How do I deal with what is important? I asked yun mga question that matters to my purpose, yun mga question that deals with the things that I am passionate about for my mental sanity, and of course to prioritize things to be able to make do of what I have left on my 24hrs. Sabi nga ni sir Francis Kong

1. Purpose - I live not for myself, but for the One who extended a day of my life. I live to serve with whaterver service God has ordained me to give. I have a family, work, friends, community or ministry. Then, I do what needs to be done on that day.

2. Passion - I always love to learn things about history and science because to me these two are fundamental as well to my faith - it brings what I believe to life. I also love journaling and crafting. I also love research, finding a problem and thinking of ways to address them somehow if it cannot be solved immediately.
Making time for my passion gives me wisdom that fuels my purpose. I have to make sure I have time para sa passion ko.

3. Productivity - is where I wear ang aking Project Management hat. With the purpose and passion na meron ako, I have to make sure I balance it out to generate an output that is vital to what I can accomplish for today. A lot of people thought na wala pa silang skills on this, pero sa totoo lang, if you are a home maker, or someone who lives independently, this skill is one of the things you are already cultivating to yourself.

So, make time. We all have time, pero it is how we use our time to our advantage. I do hope that the time given to you by the Lord will be something that at the end of a day is something that you can give back to Him in a golden platter oozing with so much aroma that He would be joyful to receive.

Blessings!

Change is the only constant thing...

But regardless of change, we as believers of Christ are called to hold our lights nor for everyone to see us, but to light the path of others so they can see God.

May we never be afraid to take a leap of faith, to challenge the status quo, to create a new path, to take the road less traveled.

For as long as we hold the torch that leads the way to the Lord, we ought to be firm on how we stand, and we ought to fight for others to find that light.

I KNOW YOUR NEEDS....

I trust that whatever situation in life I maybe, the Lord knows, understands, listens and take action on it.

Minsan mahirap isipin lalo na sa mga panahon katulad ngayon na may Super Typhoon where most people needed rescue and help. Minsan it is also frustrating dahil ang mga tao o gobyerno na inaasahan natin to take action is hard to reach.

But GOD..... This phrase I will always remember. Sa dami ng pagkakataon at sitwasyon na pinagdaanan ko, sa dami ng frustration ko sa ibat ibang tao, I know that GOD knows everything, He sees everything, and He will be my hope and comfort in anything.

Kaya sana sa lahat ng bagay, we will always remember..

BUT GOD...
PERO ANG DIYOS....

ang sabi Nya sa kin ay

"I KNOW YOUR NEEDS EVEN BEFORE YOU ASK" - JESUS
