The Lourdes Loop is the official student social communications organization of Lourdes School of Mandaluyong. We aim to showcase Lourdesian life and be a hub for students to see fun and light content. The Lourdes Loop has been known for producing variety of contents for the community's entertainment and online school events. Lourdes School of Mandaluyong is a private, Catholic educational institut

ion founded and operated by the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin. The school was established in 1959 by the Capuchins in the Philippines, with only a hundred students from Grades 1 to 4. The school's name is abbreviated LSM, differentiating it from its brother school, Lourdes School of Quezon City (LSQC). The LSM campus is located at the Ortigas Center commercial district, near malls such as SM Megamall, Shangri-La Plaza, EDSA Central, and Starmall. Cesar Acuin, O.F.M.Cap.

If you missed it here’s a recap of what happened on the Teachers’ Day program last Wednesday, October 2, 2024🤩.

We had a fun game where teachers guided the blindfolded students not to step on the paper📜. This reminds us of their role as our mentors, always there guiding usalobg the way 🧑‍🏫. They form and mold us to become better versions of ourselves.

Students were also able to express their gratitude to our dear formators; chosen students across grade levels gave their letter of appreciation to the teachers 💌. The Student Government also announced an activity called “Gratitude Mail”📬, were students could express their appreciation to their formators. Special Awards and recognitions were also given to the teachers who excel in different categories😊.

May this Teachers’ Day celebration serve as a reminder of our hardworking formators who continue to empower and lead students to “Become Like Christ”🙏. May we always strive to do our best to make our formators proud 🥰 and live by their teachings and wisdom in light of our school's vision-mission and core values, so as to become more proactive Lourdesians in joyful service to the community.

On this day, we celebrate the Feast of Saint Francis, a saint known for his affection and love towards the creations of God. His life showcased simplicity and purpose to protect and love the things that roam our planet. With kindness and compassion, he showed every being the true love that welled in his heart. Through his works, the world was and is continually being encouraged to open their arms with warmth and peace.

Today, let us remember his legacy and thank him for spreading compassion to all creatures, whether it be big or small. May we strive to become stewards of Mother Nature, just as how he honored the lives of God’s creations. Let this be a reminder to practice tranquility and welcomeness to whoever may appear in front of us, and to be mindful of our actions. In doing so, let us appreciate the beauty of the world around us and strive to become instruments of peace.
