🍀"Merry Christmas" was first written in 1534 by a bishop to a British official.
🍀Songs like "God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen" (16th century) show the early use of "Merry Christmas".

EVOLUTION
🍀In the 18th century, social hierarchy reflected the way people wished each other a merry Christmas: "Merry" Christmas was associated with the working class and their uninhibited celebrations, while "Happy" Christmas was favored by the upper class for its air of refinement and sophistication.

MARKETABILITY
🍀Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" sounded the joyous bells of "Merry Christmas" anew in 1843, and every year thereafter giving the phrase a touch of infectious merriment.

Christmas isn't Christmas without the tallest pine tree to hang one's ornaments on. My earliest memories were of genuine prickly pine trees chosen by my grandfather for family to adorn. There was a scent of comfort about them that always ushered in that warm feeling of peace and love.

Every year on August 21, we commemorate World Senior Citizens Day. It's a time to recognize and appreciate what senior citizens have given to society. The day also promotes awareness of issues affecting senior citizens, such as ageism, poverty, and health issues.

World Senior Citizens Day was established in 1990 by the United Nations General Assembly. In 1991, the day was first observed. "Resilience of Older Persons in a Changing World" is the theme for World Senior Citizens Day 2023. This theme emphasizes the significance of older adults' resilience in the face of difficulties, including climate change, economic instability, and political strife.

Our first day together,
wasn’t a normal date like lovers’.
I was happy to be with you,
and to be yours.
I knew nothing.
I saw nothing,
but I felt the beats of your heart,
against mine,
when you hugged me.

I didn’t hear anything,
but I heard you praying to God,
that I never become intractable,
and to be someone who will always love you.

You were always there for me.
I was selfish, and moody but in love with you.
I some days hurt you,
and you healed me.
I sometimes ruined your days,
and you fixed mine.

Days and nights go by pretty too fast,
and I didn’t forget your voice or how you look.
Holding your photo while in bed at present,
I just wish the day comes soon, and it will come,
so I can be on my knees beside your knees,
kissing your blessing hands,
just like how you rocked my cradle at night for years and years,
while singing and praying for me.

My mother, Endlessly, unhesitantly and immortally I say it, and will always do,
