“Christmas Village”
Our Christmas tree showcases the productivity together with creativity of our team members. It consists of 5 tiers–the first one being the village where the establishments and other landmarks in Tabaco that surrounds the Cope Hospital. The second tier exhibits what’s inside the Cope Hospital, the different departments that completes the overall function of our facility such as the Emergency Room where triage and first aids are made, the Radiology with CT scan machine and laboratory with their signature blood bags and microscope.
The different nurses’ stations are located in the 3rd tier–the Our Lady of Salvation, Our Lady of Lourdes, and St. Francis, it shows the details of our workplace where nurses devotedly do their everyday tasks to fulfill their duties towards their patients. The 4th-tier being the Dr. Amando Cope Hospital itself, in miniature version. And the top-tier of our tree which is the “Belen”, the true essence of Christmas, the reason we have this holiday celebration itself.
Our Christmas Village are made from a variety of recycled materials, including cans, medicine boxes, plungers and egg trays.
All of the miniature versions of each Tabaco landmarks, hospital departments and machines are purely handmade
Therefore, this village symbolizes also the gift of love, togetherness and uniqueness of God and his only son. The presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other.
