PABASA NG PASYON 2025

On March 27, the De La Salle Araneta community gathered at the University Chapel for the "Pabasa ng Pasyon," a sacred Lenten tradition that reflects on the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. This centuries-old Filipino practice involves the continuous chanting or recitation of the Pasyón, allowing the faithful to meditate on Christ’s ultimate sacrifice and deepen their spiritual connection with God.

As voices resonated in prayer throughout the university, the Pabasa became more than just a tradition, it was a moment of faith, reflection, and devotion. May this sacred practice continue to inspire and strengthen our journey with Christ.

Meet Rocio Isabel M. Espiritu, our featured DLSAU Animo Cutie, whose footsteps as Ms. DLSAU 2025 1st Runner Up reflects both the brilliance of her brain and the beauty of her heart. 👸👑

Rocio is currently pursuing her second degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at De La Salle Araneta University. She earned her AB Interdisciplinary Studies degree with tracks in Communications and Literature from Ateneo de Manila University before pursuing her dream of becoming an animal doctor. 💙🐾💚

Beyond academics, Rocio is a multifaceted individual who finds joy in different forms of entertainment and creativity. She enjoys watching horror movies, diving into the thrilling worlds of Valorant and League of Legends, engaging in board games, and expressing her creativity through crocheting.🧶 💓🎮

Ms. Ariane Karmela Madrinal successfully conducted her final teaching demonstration, with the students of Grade 1-Service as her audience, last Friday. Under the guidance of her Critic Teacher, Ms. Amelia Duhig, Ms. Madrinal engaged our youngest Lasallian learners in an interactive and meaningful lesson, showcasing her ability to foster a dynamic learning environment. 👩🏻‍🏫

The teaching demo was closely observed by the DLSAU College of Education and Integrated School administrators, who assessed Ms. Madrinal’s instructional strategies and classroom management skills.💯

Ms. Madrinal’s ability to connect with students, encourage participation, and create a positive classroom atmosphere left a lasting impression on both the observers and the young learners. 💚
