Natuwa ako dahil pagkagising ko mula sa pagkaidlip ngayong hapon, nakita ko ang panganay ko na naghuhugas ng pinggan. Nakakatuwa na kahit hindi mo inutusan ang anak mo ay nagkukusa etong gumawa kung anong pwede niyang gawin. Tunay nga na nakapag naturuan ng maayos ang anak, magiging pagpapala eto sa pamilya.

That person who led you to knowing Christ…

Each christian, I believe, owed something to somebody for the salvation they enjoy everyday.

It was year May 16, 2001 when this passionate man, Sir Lito Lausa, a church preacher from Open Door Bible Baptist Church, Sagay City came to our place to share to me the salvation through Jesus Christ.

Since then, I am assured of eternity through faith. My life turned around and knew for sure that God has plans for me. Through one- on-one discipleship, my faith developed and grew deeper. In 2004, I left the church for personal reason and moved to Manila to find job to support my family. I didn’t inform him about my leaving the church, in short, we didn’t communicate for many years. I lived a miserable life back then.

We met again in 2022, he told me that he continually prayed for me. It overjoyed my soul to know that there’s one person who never give up on me, who hopes that the word preached, would never return in vain.

I couldn’t imagine my life without knowing Christ as my personal saviour, and without this one person, who is patient enough to reach, disciple and pray for me when I was a baby Christian.

Today, we met again, I presented to him a Study Bible that’s given to me, and he was overjoyed by this gift. His joy is simple- to see people coming to know Christ. He’s already 58, and still serving faithfully amidst trials and temptation.

As an encouragement to those who keeps on preaching and reaching people to know Christ- you will never know what God can do to those people who you lead to Christ. Just preach on!

Sir Lito, thank you so much for your life. Your impact truly is invaluable. Keep On! More souls to lead. More life to change.
