On Addy’s birthday, I want to take a moment to honor you dad. Though you are now in heaven, your love, guidance, and strength are still with us. I know that your spirit continues to watch over us, providing strength and love when we need it most.

You stepped in when we needed you most, filling in the missing gaps as a father for Kuya. Your presence in his life made all the difference, and I’ll forever be grateful for how you showed him what it means to be loved, cared for, and supported. You showed us what it truly meant to be a father—patient, kind, unconditional love and always there when needed.

As we celebrate Addy today, I want you to know how deeply your memory lives on in our hearts. You may not be here physically, but your impact, especially in shaping Addy, is a part of him every single day. We miss you, but we also carry you with us in every step we take.

Thank you for everything, Dad. Thank you for being the father you were and for being the best grandpa to Kuya.

I can’t believe how fast time has flown. It feels like just yesterday, it was just the two of us, figuring out life together. And now, here you are—growing into an incredible young man, steady, patient, and strong.

Life has a way of making us search for pieces we feel are missing, but I want you to always remember this—you are whole, just as you are. You have always been my greatest proof that love can overcome anything.

There was a time when I took care of you, and now, in ways I never expected, you have become the one looking after me. I am proud of the man you are becoming, but even more, I am grateful for the heart you have—the one that still finds space to comfort and take care of your mom when she needs it most.

You are not just a wonderful son but also an incredible brother. The way you love, guide, and protect your siblings speaks volumes about the person you are. They look up to you more than you know, and I see in their eyes the admiration and love they have for you, and for that, I am endlessly thankful.

I want you to know how much you are loved—not just by me, but also by itay. He may have come into our lives later, but he sees the amazing young man you are, and he is here to support you, just as I always will. Family isn’t just about where we started, but about the love we choose to share, and I am grateful that we are on this journey together.

This year marks a big step for you—you are growing, learning, and soon, making important decisions about your future. Whatever path you choose, know that I believe in you with all my heart. 9 Christmases without you, Dad, and it still doesn’t feel real.

So much has happened—things I wish I could tell you, things I know you’d be proud of. Life keeps moving, but a part of me still aches for your presence, your advice, your laugh. I miss you every day, but especially today.

Life feels so different without you, but I carry you in my heart every step of the way.
