‘PLEASE SHOW RESPECT TO THEIR PRIVACY AND PERSONAL SPACE’

Ganito ang naging panawagan ni Direk Lauren Dyogi sa mga fans at supporters ng P-pop girl group na BINI.

“[…] These past few days, ako personally, I was able to see some very disturbing videos [of] some of our members who didn’t seem to enjoy their break from the very stressful three-night concert. They went to a public place because they wanted to unwind and to spend some time with their families, but unfortunately, naka-experience po sila ng hindi magaganda,” saad ni Direk Lauren.

“Nakikiusap po ako personally, as part of the BINI team, na sana po ’pag ang ating mga miyembro ay... spending their personal time especially with their families and friends, to please also show respect to their privacy and personal space. Tao rin po sila, kailangan din po nilang makisalamuha sa ibang tao,” dagdag pa nito.

“Nakiusap po ako sa mga Blooms, at sa mga iba pa pong supporters nila, alam ko excited kayong makita sila, but please remember na sila po ay nanggagaling din po sa very hectic schedule these past few months, and more hectic schedules. We also want to give them their own semblance of some regular life to be able to spend it with their families in restaurants, and some private places as well,” pagpapatuloy pa niya.

HEADING TO PARIS! 🇵🇭✈️

22-year old John Cabang-Tolentino has qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics in the 110m hurdles event, the Philippine Sports Commission and the Philippine Athletics Track and Field Association announced.

He currently holds the national record for the said event at 13.37 seconds. Cabang-Tolentino also bagged the bronze in the 60m hurdles event of the hurdles event in the Asian Indoor Athletics Championships.

QUALIFIED FOR THE OLYMPICS 🇵🇭✈️

25-year old Lauren Hoffman has qualified for the 400m hurdles event in the 2024 Paris Olympics, the Philippine Sports Commission and the Philippine Athletics Track and Field Association announced.

She also holds the national record for the said event with 55.72 seconds according to the PSC.

Filipino Catholics in the Bay Area celebrated the Feast Day of Our Lady of Manaoag, a revered image of the Virgin Mary in the Philippines, in twin events marking the 26th year of the celebration by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of San Francisco.

The Lady’s statue is a 17th-century ivory and silver image of Mary with the Child Jesus, which was brought to the Philippines from Spain via the Manila-Acapulco, Mexico galleon trade.
