Nothing wrong if nagbabottle feeding ang 4 years old.

Bakit?

Dahil nakakasira ng ipin daw Doc.

Believe me ang dami pong sira ang ipin kahit di na nagbottle feed.

Magbottle feed ka man o hindi kung di tinooth brushan ang baby starting paglabas ng ngipin ay masisira rin.

Maraming nagsisimula ng brush ng toothpaste by 2 years old. Eh nagsimula ng masira yun before ka pa ng protect. Meron namang no flouride tooth gel na pwedeng malunon ng baby.

Pero Doc malaki na bakit nagbeberon pa rin?

Ikaw bakit ka humihingi ng straw sa Jollibee? Kung inumin mo nalang pala ang baso? Mas convenient kasi Doc pag may straw.

Well same answer. Isipin mong pabibitin mo ang 4 year old ng baso na duralex na may gatas. Konteng takbo basag. Eh gusto niyang nakalie down, kaya mo bang uminom ng baso na nakahiga?

The aim is to add calories sa bata anytime anywhere, milk is actually better than rice based on calories, nutrition and vitamin content. They can grow bigger, healther, smarter, taller.

So dahil sa maling paniniwala ng mga Pinoy maraming stunted at malnourished.

Halimbawa:

Wag mong painumin ng gatas para magutom para kumain ng kanin? Eh kumain ba? Picky eater pa rin. So anong nangyari natraining mong magfasting ang anak mo. Ayun lumiit.

The body adapts kasi. So masasanay syang kulang sa calories pero maliksi, so lumiiliit.

May mga milk lovers meron namang solid na talaga, but eventually of course di na yan magbobottle on the proper time. Wala naman akong classmate sa college na nakabottle feed pa.

Masyado mo atang binebaby ang baby Doc eh. Ano palang gusto mo gawin ng independent? Yung dapat marunong ng mamalengke? Babies are babies. Ethel knows how to raise her child.

Note: Breastfeeding is best for babies upto 2 years old.

Story time: Wala talaga sa plano ko na umattend ng company year end party dahil malayo. Mas matagal pa ang byahe kesa ang party mismo, kaya nag "no" ako sa rsvp.

Then nagtext ang HR na need ko daw umattend para sa loyalty awardee. 5 years na din kasi ako sa company.

Ayun umattend tayo for the awarding.

Before ka makapasok sa venue need mo muna magsign sa list tapos icucut nila yung name mo for the raffle.

Sadly wala yung name ko sa list dahil nga sa initial ko na response ng "no". Akala ko, hindi na ako makakasama sa raffle. Buti na lang nagawaan ng paraan. Pinasulat na lang ang name ko sa blank paper para makasama.

Ayun nabunot tayo sa isa sa mga grand price. After 5 years sa company, ngayon taon pa lang nabunot sa raffle.

Ganun pala talaga noh, kung para sayo ang isang bagay, may mga mangyayari para makuha mo yun.

Just saw this old photo with my 2 daughters, Amanda and Patty.

True, there were times that I would love to just lie down and watch tv than to be a horse.

But I have placed in my heart, the quote:

Every bedtime story

Now that our kids have grown, by the Grace of God they never gave us headaches. Now I can say, it was all worth it. Zig Ziglar was right.
