Just built this Freebird TKL for keeb community friend and forever host of The Grand Lason, Eri Neeman!
For a board that’s a little bit old at this point, it still holds up really well in 2024. It’s got 2 mounting options for you to choose from be it gummy o-ring or top mount and it sounds super clean and clacky paired with some KNCKeys Green Jacket 1.5 linears. Still one of my top favorite switches~
The board did have a bit of case ping but just placing a few stabilizer pads along the inside of the bottom case edges easily remedied things. Force Breaking is still one of the best and handiest mods since it doesn’t modify the board sound at all, just gets rid of the unwanted ping.
Full build details are on-screen and the deskmat used in the video is a Topography deskmat in the Lagoon colorway from tito ALPHA UNLTD 😁
Merk's Scuffed TGL 2024 footage
I was planning on recording a lot more footage at The Grand Lason R3 but I got way too busy during the actual event itself 🤣
So here is pretty much everything that I got on my DJI Osmo Pocket 3 just cut together lol
It really isn't much just some snippets of Squashy, Taeha, and people that visited my booth to play the gacha and try and win a keyboard 😁
Merkeebs Gacha - Win a keeb, deskmat, or stickers 😃
A little something for the gacha addicts attending The Grand Lason tomorrow 👀
Just uploaded my review of the Glitter65 R2 from Moeetech
It's a 65% keyboard designed to be used completely plateless, has a built-in USB hub + SD card reader, and the board is assembled in a pretty unique way by sliding in the assembly kinda like a drawer 😅

Paper 80 TKL Sound Test
Here's a quick sound test of the new Paper 80 TKL by Whatever Studio x Wuque Studio
Full review on the channel soon!
Neo65 - HMX Deep Navy Linears
Unikeyboards sent over some HMX Deep Navy linears and they just clack really nicely mounted on my foamless Neo65 😋
Here's a quick sound test of a stock and switch swapped ASUS Republic of Gamers Azoth Extreme
1st sound test is using Asus ROG's own NX Storm clicky switches
and the 2nd sound test is with some Gateron Smoothie linear switches
I haven't personally used clickies in a really long time but they still have their charm for sure. I'm just more partial to easy on the ear linear switches now 😅
With the weather the way it is at the moment and natural lighting not being the most consistent, I've setup my studio lights to work on videos in the meantime 😅
So here's a quick stock sound test of the Mchose GX87 - An in-stock F13 TKL keyboard that's tri-mode wireless capable, opens up with a ball catch build system, is QMK/VIA compatible and shares the same good looks as a more expensive board, the QK80
Check the link in the comments to know where to get your hands on it 😁
Sharing a quick typing test of the Velocifire Lucky65 after a bit of modding
