Ube Spanish Bread Recipe 🍞

A popular Filipino soft bread with a twist. This foolproof recipe is perfect for making at home. Give it a try!

Ingredients:
Tangzhong:
- 3 Tbsp Bread Flour
- 1/2 cup Milk

Bread Dough:
- 1/2 cup Milk
- Tangzhong
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 1/2 cups Bread Flour
- 2 Tbsp Milk Powder
- 1/2 cup Ube Halaya
- 1/2 Tbsp Ube Flavoring
- 2 Tbsp unsalted Butter
- 2 tsp Instant Dry Yeast

Filling:
- 1/3 cup Butter
- 1/4 cup All Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1/3 cup Milk
- 2/3 cup Brown Sugar
*Mix everything together until it turns into a paste.

Coating:
- Milk
- Breadcrumbs

Instructions:
1. Make the Tangzhong:
- Combine bread flour and milk in a saucepan.
- Cook over low heat until it forms a smooth paste.
- Let it cool.
2. Prepare the Bread Dough:
- In a bread maker, add
milk, Tangzhong, egg, sugar, salt, bread flour, milk powder, ube halaya, and ube flavoring.
- Select the bread dough function.
- Once combined, add the unsalted butter.
- If your bread maker has a yeast dispenser, add the yeast there. If not, add it with the other ingredients.
- Let the machine knead and rise the dough until double its size.
3. Make the Filling:
- Mix butter, all-purpose flour, breadcrumbs, 1/3 evaporated milk, and brown sugar until it becomes a paste.
4. Shape the Dough:
- After the dough has risen, transfer it to a work surface and punch it to release the air.
- Divide the dough into 50g pieces and shape each into a round ball. Rest for 10 minutes.
- Flatten each piece into an oblong shape with a rolling pin.
5. Fill the Dough:
- Spread the filling onto each flattened piece, leaving the edges clear.
- Roll each piece into a log and pinch the ends to seal.
6. Coat the Dough:
- Dip each log in milk, then roll in breadcrumbs.
7. Final Proofing:
- Cover the logs and let them proof for 40 minutes.
8. Bake:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Bake the bread for 12-15 minutes.

- 1.5 cups Parmesan Cheese

My German friends absolutely love Asian food. While in Germany, I made one of the easiest yet most delicious dishes: Golden Shrimp Fried Rice. I used Japanese fried rice seasoning, but you can use any seasoning you have. Let me know if you try it! 💞

Ingredients:
- 5 cups cooked rice
- 4 eggs
- 2 sachets Japanese Fried Rice Seasoning
- 12 or more large shrimps, cleaned and deveined
- Salt, pepper, garlic powder (for shrimp seasoning)
- Spring onion for garnish (optional)

Instructions:
1. Clean, devein, and remove shells from the shrimps. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Pan-fry until bright orange, about 4 minutes. Set aside.
2. Separate egg whites and yolks. Stir yolks into the cooked rice until well combined.
3. Heat oil in a pan. Add the rice mixture and fry until golden, about 2 minutes.
4. Push rice to the side of the pan. Pour egg whites into the cleared space and cook until slightly set, then mix with the golden fried rice. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
5. Add Japanese Fried Rice Seasoning (or seasoning of your choice). Mix well and continue cooking for 3 minutes.
6. Stir in cooked shrimps. Garnish with spring onions.

Ingredients:
*Bread Dough:
- 1 kg All-in-One Bread Mix
- 11g Instant Dry Yeast
- 1 3/4 cups Water
- 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter

*Garlic Butter:
- 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Dried Oregano
- 1 tsp Dried Basil
- 1/2 tsp Salt

*Cheese Topping:
- 1/2 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 1/2 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1/2 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
- 1/2 cup Philadelphia Cream Cheese, cubed

Instructions:
1. In a bowl, combine the All-in-One Bread Mix and instant dry yeast. Mix well.
2. Add the water and mix until fully incorporated. Add the butter. Knead the dough on a working surface until it passes the windowpane test. Return the dough to a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let it proof for 1 hour.
3. While the dough is proofing, prepare the garlic butter. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried basil, and salt. Set aside.
4. After the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 100g portions. Shape each portion into a round ball and let them rest for 10 minutes.
5. Roll out each ball into a flatbread shape on a lightly floured surface. Transfer the flatbreads to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
6. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the surface of the flatbreads.
7. Evenly sprinkle the mozzarella, cheddar, Parmesan, and cream cheese over the top.
8. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (425°F) for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the crust is golden brown.

Craving an easy but special pasta dish? My go-to Creamy Pesto Shrimp & Sausage Pasta is a must-try! Perfect for a quick, delicious meal. Let me know what you think!

Ingredients:
- 500g Pasta
- 4 Cheese Hotdogs/Sausages, sliced
- 500g Large Shrimp, peeled and deveined
- ½ cup Butter
- ½ cup Mushrooms, sliced
- 6 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 Onion, minced
- 2 cups Heavy Cream or All-Purpose Cream
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 can Whole Peeled Tomatoes
- ⅓ cup Pesto

Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and drizzle with olive oil. Mix well and set aside.
2. In a pan, heat some oil. Add the sliced sausages and season with paprika. Fry until golden, then set aside.
3. In the same pan, pan-fry the shrimp. Season with garlic powder and pepper. Cook until they turn orange, about 4 minutes. Set aside.
4. Sauté the shrimp shells and heads until bright orange, then discard the shells.
5. In the same pan, add the butter and mushrooms. Sauté the mushrooms until browned, then set aside. Add the garlic and onion to the pan and sauté until fragrant. Mix them with the mushrooms.
6. Add the heavy cream and pepper. Cook while stirring for 8 minutes.
7. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, canned tomatoes, and pesto until thoroughly mixed. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until thickened, about 3 to 5 minutes. Turn off the heat.
8. In a serving bowl or pan, combine the cooked pasta with the creamy tomato pesto sauce. Add the sausage and shrimp, mixing everything together. Top with extra sausage and shrimp pieces. Garnish with parsley.

Happy Father's Day! 🎉

Treat the hero of the house with a delicious, homemade dessert. No baking skills needed! This simple and tasty Chocolate-Strawberry Cheesecake is perfect for showing your love.

Ingredients:
- 18 Strawberries (9 whole, 9 halved)
- 80g Biscuits, crushed
- 50g Unsalted Butter, melted
- 100g Philadelphia Cream Cheese
- 300g Heavy Cream or All-Purpose Cream
- 7g Gelatin Powder
- 30ml (2 Tbsp) Water, room temperature
- 240g Chocolate
- 120g Heavy Cream or All-Purpose Cream
- 15g Cocoa Powder
- 2 Egg Yolks

**Instructions:**
1. Wash, remove the leaves, and halve 9 strawberries. Set aside.
2. Crush the biscuits and mix with melted butter. Spread this mixture evenly in a lined 7-inch round mold.
3. Arrange the halved strawberries around the sides and the whole ones in the center on top of the biscuit layer. Chill in the fridge.
4. Cut the cream cheese into cubes. Whisk the cream cheese until smooth, gradually adding the heavy cream. Set aside.
5. In a bowl, sprinkle the gelatin powder over 2 tbsp of water. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes to bloom, then mix well. Set aside.
6. In a pan, combine the chocolate and 120g of heavy cream. Warm the mixture over low heat until melted. Add the cocoa powder and egg yolks to the chocolate mixture, stirring constantly until smooth.
7. Dissolve the bloomed gelatin into the chocolate mixture.
8. Remove from heat. Pour the chocolate mixture into the cream cheese mixture. Mix thoroughly, using a strainer for a smooth mixture.
9. Pour the combined mixture into the mold over the biscuit and strawberry layer. Refrigerate until set.
10. Once firm, remove from the mold and enjoy your delicious Choco-Strawberry Cheesecake!

Discovering authentic Italian cuisine in Nuremberg was a treat! The restaurant was bustling, so booking ahead is a must. Despite a wait of almost an hour, the food was worth it, although the service was a bit slow—possibly the norm here. The dishes were delicious overall, but the tiramisu didn't quite hit the mark for me. Dining solo made it challenging to finish everything, so I ended up taking the leftovers and giving them to a homeless person I encountered on the street.

Ube Cheese Bread Recipe 💜🍞

With Independence Day approaching, let’s bake something Filipinos love: Ube Cheese Bread. Who doesn’t love Ube? Follow this foolproof, super yummy recipe at home. Let me know if you try it! Enjoy!

Ingredients:

**Tangzhong**
- 25g Bread Flour
- 125 ml Milk

**Bread Dough**
- 125 ml Milk
- Tangzhong
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 1/2 cups Bread Flour
- 2 Tbsp Milk Powder
- 1/2 cup Ube Halaya
- 1/2 Tbsp Ube Flavoring
- 30g Unsalted Butter
- 2 tsp Instant Dry Yeast

**Toppings**
- 1/2 cup Flour
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup Milk Powder
- Pinch of Salt
- 15g Unsalted Butter

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Tangzhong:Mix the bread flour and 125 ml of milk over low heat until smooth and it turns into a paste. Allow it to cool.

2. Make the Bread Dough: In a bread maker, add the milk, Tangzhong, egg, sugar, salt, bread flour, milk powder, ube halaya, and ube flavoring. Select the bread dough function. After approximately 6 minutes, once the dough starts forming, add the butter. If your bread maker has a yeast dispenser, add the yeast to it; otherwise, add the yeast with the other ingredients. Allow the machine to complete its course (around 20 minutes of kneading and 40 minutes to 1 hour of rising or until doubled in size).

3. Shaping: After the first rise, transfer the dough onto a workstation. Punch it to release the air. Portion the dough into 35g pieces, shaping each into a round. Seal properly and repeat for all portions.

4. Prepare the Toppings: In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, milk powder, and salt.

5. Coat the Dough:Dip each dough round in milk, then roll it in the topping mixture.

6. Final Proofing: Cover the dough rounds and let them undergo final proofing for 40 minutes.

7. Baking:Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 12-15 minutes.

*Important Notes:*
- If a bread maker is unavailable, you can use a stand mixer or knead manually. Perform a windowpane test to ensure the dough is kneaded enough.
- If your bread maker lacks a yeast dispenser, add the yeast along with the other ingredients. After the kneading program is complete, remove the dough, shape it into a round, place it in a greased bowl, cover, and let it proof for an hour or until doubled in size.

Hi Kweenatics! Tried the Bestfriend's Bakebox by Foodie Fred, and as someone who’s not usually a cookie fan, I was impressed! 🍪

Masarap siya—like a mix of Chips Ahoy and Famous Amos, but not too sweet. So if fan ka ng super tamis na mala-diabetic cookies, this is not for you! 😆 Plus, it's huge for a standard cookie size—isa lang, busog na ako. Packed with chocolate chips! Crisp on the outside and mildly chewy on the inside. Definitely worth a try! 💞 If ayaw nyo maniwala, try nyo na lang. 😉

Shrimp Omelette Rice Bowl Recipe 🦐🍳

Craving something quick and flavorful? Try my 10-minute Shrimp Omelette Rice Bowl! It's a savory twist perfect for any meal. Let's cook up something delicious!

Shrimp Marinade:
- 12 pcs shrimp (de-shelled & deveined)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp fish sauce
- 1 tsp oyster sauce

Other Ingredients:
- 2 Tbsp (30g) butter
- 6 cloves garlic (minced)
- 4 eggs

Garnish:*
- Spring onion
- Chili garlic oil

Instructions:
1. Marinate the shrimp in garlic powder, fish sauce, and oyster sauce for at least 5 minutes.
2. In a pan, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant. Add the marinated shrimp and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 3 minutes.
3. Pour in the beaten eggs and gently mix with the shrimp.
4. Garnish with chopped spring onions and drizzle with chili garlic oil.
5. Serve the shrimp omelette on top of rice.

Dinuguan Recipe
(Pork Blood Stew)

Ever tried Dinuguan? It's an underrated Filipino dish that might look 'ugly' due to its dark color, but it's undeniably delicious! Here’s my bro-in-law’s foolproof recipe to make it at home!

Ingredients:
- 1.5 kg Pork Belly (seasoned with Salt and Pepper)
- 2 Onions (diced)
- 6 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 3 medium Tomatoes (diced)
- 1 cup Vinegar
- 1/2 cup Water
- 2 cups Pork Blood
- 8 long Green Chilies
- Salt (to taste)

**Slurry (optional, depending on the pork blood consistency):
- 1 Tbsp Cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp Water

Instructions:
1. Fry the pork belly over high heat until the water is drained and the pork turns light brown. Drain excess oil using a strainer.
2. In the same oil used for frying the pork, sauté the diced onions and minced garlic.
3. Once onion is translucent, add the diced tomatoes. Saute until they are tender, infusing their flavor into the mixture.
4. Return the fried pork to the pan and pour in the vinegar. Cover and simmer until the pork is tender and the vinegar is cooked down. Add water as needed to ensure the pork is tender.
5. Stir in the pork blood and green chilies. Mix thoroughly to incorporate the blood evenly.
6. Simmer for an additional 10 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
Note: If the pork blood needs additional thickening, prepare the slurry by mixing cornstarch and water, then add it to the mixture.
7. Season with salt to taste.
8. Serve hot with rice or p**o (steamed rice cakes).

Easy Bone Marrow Kare-Kare Recipe

Happy mother's day Kweenatics!💐💕✨

Here's another underrated Filipino dish, that's one of my favorite. Sharing to you the foolproof recipe from my sister.

Ingredients:
* 1.5 Kg Beef Bone Marrow
* 1 Beef Bouillon (optional)
* 3 Tbsp Cooking Oil
* 2 Onions, minced
* 1 Garlic Head, minced
* 1 1/2 cups Rice Flour (grind raw rice into fine powder)
* 1/2 cup Annatto Seeds (for color)
* 300g Ground Peanuts (unsalted peanuts blended into a paste)
* Slurry (1 Tbsp Cornstarch + 2 Tbsp Water)
* 3 Eggplant, sliced
* 2 bundles of Pechay
* 1 Bundle of String Beans
* Black Pepper, to taste

Side Dish:
* Bagoong (Shrimp Paste)

Instructions:
1. Boil beef bone marrow until tender (about 2-3 hours), adding the beef bouillon if desired. Set aside.
2. In a pan, heat oil. Sauté minced onions and garlic until fragrant. Add boiled bone marrow. Mix and set aside.
3. Dilute rice flour with water, then add to the bone marrow broth.
4. Dilute annatto seeds in hot water, soak for 10 minutes, then pour the mixture into the bone marrow broth while straining the seeds.
5. Add peanut paste to the broth. Mix, cover, and bring to a boil.
6. Add the slurry to thicken the sauce. Mix well.
7. Sauté the bagoong separately.
8. Blanch the vegetables: boil water, add string beans and pechay one after the other. Fry the eggplant.

Enjoy your delicious Bone Marrow Kare-Kare with shrimp paste on the side!
