My favorite thing is being around my kids,⁣⁣

taking in their laughter,⁣⁣

𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘢𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮,⁣⁣

talking to them,⁣⁣
⁣
𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦,⁣⁣
⁣⁣
learning more and more about who they are,⁣⁣
⁣⁣
and taking in their current interests.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Because I am genuinely interested in what they have to say,⁣⁣
⁣⁣
because it’s important to them,⁣⁣
⁣⁣
𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦.⁣⁣

I do a lot of listening,⁣⁣
⁣⁣
𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘶𝘴.⁣⁣

And then there’s⁣⁣

the spontaneous dance parties.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Hugs and kisses.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Tickle fights.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
The snuggles.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
The “I love you” exchanges.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
And as they grow, that bond will only grow, too.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
My favorite thing is being around my kids,⁣⁣
