Imagine, mag aasawa ka 30 tapos manganganak ka 31, pag edad mo ng 42 yrs old anak mo 10 yrs old palang grade 4, pag edad mo ng 50 anak mo 18yrs old, gagraduate palang sa grade12, may 4 yrs pa sa college, try to think at the age of 50, kaya pa ba makapatapos ng college? What if tatlo anak mo for sure at the age of 50 may elementary ka pa, tapos pag nag 60 ka na yung pension mo mapupunta sa estudyante kasi may hischool ka pa, so saan ka?
Enjoy now and suff3r later? or suff3r now and enjoy later?
Doon tayo sa mag asawa bata pa at the age of 20, manganganak 21, pag 42 yrs old college na anak ko, pag 50 yrs old mo wala ka ng pinapa-aral. travel travel na lang, pag naging professional ang mga bata, at the age of 60 may pension na, may allowance pa dahil nagbabantay ng apo,
so MAG-ASAWA KA NA.. 😁

CONGRATS PSL.

We now know what a joke this league is 🤡

For context, understand this:

In a single UAAP team, there are 15 players per team. With there being 8 teams that means there are 120 players.

120 aspiring pro hoopers.

That’s just ONE LEAGUE.

Not even factoring in the NCAA, CESAFI, NCRAA and others.

But the count doesn’t stop there.

Factoring in the existing commercial players, the ligang labas participants, and all those aspiring players in pocket and rec leagues everywhere, the pro hooper aspirant count is upwards into the tens of thousands.

All probably qualified to play in the PSL
All potentially can be good enough to earn their way in.

That’s what should enrage every qualified and capable pro hoopin aspirant about what transpired in the PSL.

Some click bait, trigger monger has YOUR CONTRACT and YOUR MINUTES.

Now let’s say he doesn’t have a contract? HE STILL IS SOMEHOW PLAYING ON AN ACTUAL SEMI PRO FLOOR with his name tallying up minutes 😳

No matter the amount of shots you put up on a daily basis? How you dedicated your life to the game of basketball? How you ran all those sprints and suicides in practice? How you showed up early and stayed late to do extra? How you shed blood, sweat, and tears only to realize that the path to getting what you so desperately wanted was simply if you understood and were able to crack Youtube and Facebook’s viral algorithm?? 🤦🏻‍♂️

We get it tho- life aint fair.

But this?

This gives it a whole new meaning.

The PSL was supposed to be a source of hope for aspiring ballers who couldn’t make it in the PBA or MPBL (Another league that’s replicated this scenario too 🥲)or couldn’t make a roster due to technicalities.

Not a source of jokes and dissapointment.

In a game where everyone who’s ever played it understands - everything is earned, not given.

This one was the embodiment of it’s reversal.

And you ask why no one takes the Philippines seriously?

Maybe this is why 😂🇵🇭🤦🏻‍♂️
