Alamin ang likod ng bawat butil ng mais!

Muli ninyo kaming samahan sa panibagong episode ng ICTV, na kung saan patuloy parin ang ating masaganang ani sa mundo ng agriculture.

Mula sa pagtatanim hanggang sa pag-ani, tunghayan ang proseso ng corn production.

Sinamahan tayo ng ating Agriculturist II/Provincial Corn Coordinator, Eraño P. Marin at Aquaculturist II/Provincial Corn Program Technical Staff, John Kelvin Gaddi upang magbigay kaalaman at karanasan sa mais.

Halina’t sama-sama tayong matuto at humanga sa galing ng mga magsasaka.

Ang Knowledge Management Unit sa pamamagitan ng ICTRD ay patuloy na nagsasagawa ng pananaliksik sa iba’t ibang paksa upang makatugon sa mga isyung kinakaharap ng sektor ng agrikultura at pangisdaan.
Isa sa mga pangunahing pokus nito ay ang Rice Production, na may mahalagang papel sa Pilipinas bilang pangunahing pagkain ng mga Pilipino at pangunahing pinagkakakitaan ng milyun-milyong magsasaka.

Malaki ang ambag nito sa seguridad sa pagkain, kabuhayan, at kaunlarang pang-ekonomiya ng bansa.

Muling nagbabalik ang ICTv sa isang makabuluhang episode hatid ng Knowledge Management Unit ng Office of Innovation!

Sa episode na ito, hindi ka mauubusan ng bigas—este, kaalaman!

Pag-uusapan natin ang Rice Production — ang “grain of hope" ng bawat hapag-kainan! Kasama ang municipal agriculturist ng Sta. Ana, Pampanga na sina Engr. Gisselle M. Pineda at Mr. Gener M. Reye, Licensed Agriculturist. Tampok din ang isang local farmer na si Mr. Allen V. Pascual.

Kasama nila, tatalakayin natin ang mga praktikal na kaalaman sa modernong pagtatanim at mga hamon sa produksyon ng Palay sa Pilipinas.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐒𝐀𝐔-𝐒𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐥 𝐓𝐁𝐈 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐮𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬' 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐬!

Three outstanding young agripreneurs from Central Luzon have been recognized as provincial awardees in the Young Farmers’ Challenge (YFC): Competitive Grant Program 2024. Each of them has received ₱80,000 in seed capital to develop and expand their innovative agri-fishery enterprises. The awardees are Mr. Marvie Jake L. Torero of Aquajic Fish Processing, Ms. Jennilyn A. Enriquez of NU3MAXX, and Ms. Roselyn M. Santiago of Proasenso Integrated Farm.

More than just awardees, these three promising agripreneurs are also current incubatees of the Sibul TBI, where they have received technical assistance and mentorship throughout the competition. Their achievements highlight the vital role of innovation, youth engagement, and institutional support in shaping a dynamic and sustainable future for Philippine agriculture.
