What Do We Do for a Living?

People often view working from home as being "tambay" or having "walay trabaho" (no work). They think there's no difference between us and those who are unemployed.

We don't wear uniforms...
We don't need to clean up or dress up...
And sometimes, we even skip taking a shower before we start our workday! 😂

People often look down on us, saying things like, "Ai, ga-online ra diay ka?

But let me tell you, our work is real and respectable. It requires actual skills and talent to get hired for these positions.

Just because we work remotely, it doesn't mean we didn't finish school or earn a degree. In fact, many of us have higher education—some even hold master's degrees or doctorates! The skills and knowledge we've gained from both our formal education and years of real-life experience give us an edge in the professional world.

So remember that the world of remote jobs is just as valid, challenging, and rewarding as any other career. Working from home is not only a job, but a lifestyle that requires dedication, discipline, and expertise.
