SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the center of the eye of Super Typhoon "BETTY" {MAWAR} was estimated based on all available data at 1,345 km East of Central Luzon (16.1°N, 134.7°E), with maximum sustained winds of 195 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 240 km/h. It is moving West Northwestward at 25 km/h. Southwesterly Windflow affecting the western sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

BALAY SA CANDAU-AY, GIPABUTHAN OG PUSIL

Nakuratan ang mga residente sa Purok Gumamela sa Barangay Candau-ay ning dakbayan human gipabuthan og pusil ang usa ka balay didto Biyernes sa buntag, Abril 21, 2023.

Matud pa sa taho sa Dumaguete PNP, ang maong panimalay gipanag-iya sa magtiayong Gaspar ug Rhilrose Antoniette Torres, pulos 36 anyos.

Sigon sa inisyal nga imbestigasyon sa kapulisan, natulog kuno ang magtiayon sa dihang gipukaw sila sa ilang katabang pasado alas-4 sa kaadlawon Biyernes ug gipahibal-an sila nga dunay namusil sa ilang balay.

Gisusi sa magtiayon sa CCTV footage sa ilang panimalay. Didto nila nasayran nga dunay puti nga van nga niagi sa ilang balay ug gipabuthan kini pasado ala-1 sa kaadlawon.

Gibutyag sa magtiayong Torres nga naigo sa bala ang ilang koral nga hinimo sa kawayan ug nilusot kini ngadto sa ilang sakyanan.

Duha ka slug sa kalibre .45 nga pi***la ang na-recover gikan sa crime scene.

Padayon ang imbestigasyon sa Dumaguete PNP sa maong pagpamusil.

Two shot dead in a disco

Two shooting victims believed to be an atrocity done by the member of the New People’s Army or NPA in Sitio Cambairan,Brgy Trinidad, Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental about 42kms away from City Proper.

The Victims is one Juven Patagatay Pasinabo, 24 years old of Brgy Trinidad, Guihulngan City,Negros Oriental and Jinny Boy Rapol Tubias, 29 years old, of Brgy Montilla,Moises Padilla,Negros Occidental.

Police investigation revealed that the two were attending a fiesta celebration when four unidentified males shot Juven, the first victim and then the second Jinny boy whom witnesses said he was dragged outside the dance hall and eventually killed.

Witnesses said, the assailants shouted “NPA MI HAPA ANG WALAY LABOT” while Harassing the partygoers. Police investigation were immediately conducted.

Carpenter shot while having breakfast

Guihulngan City (April 11)— A local carpenter was shot dead inside their abode in a Mountainous barangay of Sitio Mag-ubay, Brgy. Mani-ak, Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental.

The Victim is one Armando Babor y. duran 33 carpenter, and a resident of the said barangay.

Police initial investigation revealed said that at around 7am, the victim was having a breakfast with his family when three unidentified male suddenly burst inside and shot several times hitting his arm and head and immediately fled.

The victim was brought to Governor William Billy Villegas Memorial Hospital but was pronounced dead by the attending Physician. RAB

The investigators found several empty fired shells in the vicinity. They believed this is another case of NPA atrocities.

Two riders hit by fallen tree

Two Motorcycle riders were accidentally hit by a tree along National Highway Barangay South Poblacion, Jimalalud Negros Oriental.

The injured driver and passenger were identified as Karl Darwin Magos, 23 years old and Clyde Magos 31, both residents of Brgy. South Poblacion, Jimalalud Negros Oriental.

Police investigation revealed that the two were onboard their motorcycle when a coconut tree fell right straight to them causing severe injuries.

They were brought to the hospital for medical treatment and later referred to Guihulngan City but was declared Dead on Arrival.

14-ANYOS NGA DALAGA, GITIGBAS PATAY SA GUIHULNGAN CITY

Nakaplagan ang patay nga lawas sa usa ka 14-anyos nga babayi sa Sitio Anislag, Barangay T-Hill sa Guihulngan City kagabii, April 4, 2023.

Giila sa Guihulngan Police Station ang biktima nga usa ka Grade 8 nga estudyante sa Magsaysay National High School, kinsa lumolupyo sab sa naasoy nga barangay.

Sumala pa sa inisyal nga imbestigasyon, aduna'y samad tinigbasan sa liog ug uban pang parte sa kalawasan ang biktima.

Dugang pa sa kapulisan, nakita pa sa mga silingan ang biktima nga padulong sa eskwelahan anang buntag apan wala na kini nakaabot sa iyang klase.

Sa pagkakaron, nagpadayon pa ang imbestigasyon sa kapulisan aron masikop ang suspek niini.
