Medina, Master Teacher II ng Science Department, ika-29 ng Setyembre, araw ng Biyernes.

Read|| AP Department conducts Martial Law Commemoration Exhibit

Araling Panlipunan (AP) Department of Lucena City National High School (LCNHS) conducted an exhibit entitled– AP Department's Martial Law Commemoration: An Exhibit at LCNHS Conference room, September 25.

Learners from Grade 7 to Senior High School, as well as Grade 6 learners from Elvira Razon Aranilla Elementary School visited the exhibit and witnessed historical events from Martial Law through photos with significant information presented to commemorate the experiences of the Filipino.

Ms. Jho-Ann Buñag, Master Teacher I of AP Department led and organized the event with the support of her co-teachers from the same department, Mrs. Maribel Cueto, Mrs. Raquel Oabel, Mrs. Annecie Delos Santos, Mrs. Kathrina Bala, Mrs. Margie Nagar, Mrs. Geraldine Alberto, Mrs. Ruth Heli, Mr. Mark Buo, Mr. Ricky Macalaguin, Mrs. Oliva Abrehan, Ms. Anna Princesita F. Lingahan, Ms. Sarah Mae Jabola, Mr. John Ruel Rayo, Ms. Russelle Luistro, Ms. Arrian Guttierez, and Mrs. Arlene Abdula, Curriculum Chairman Dr. Michael J. Medina, and Head Teacher I, Mrs. Rosalinda A. Caalaman were also present to give support and guidance to the said event.

In addition, Game puzzle made the exhibit more exciting, as learners enjoyed to complete the missing pieces which showed Filipino's experience.

Furthermore, this activity aimed to give awareness and to look back on the historical memories of the Filipinos, as well as to restore the date of Martial Law and to emphasize the Project Manauli focused on Makabayan

Pinarangalan ng GSP ngayong taon ang malaking kontribusyon ni Escoda kasabay ng kapanganakan sa pangunguna ni Gng. Rocel Arenas, GSP Koordineytor kasama ang mga tagapayo na sina Gng. Lady Desiree Tolentino, Gng. Kathrina P. Bala, Gng. Rosalia Esperanza, Gng. Anneci Delos Santos, Gng. Imelda P. Valdeavilla at ilan pang mga g**o, kasama ang Council Executive na si Bb. Mylyn A. De Torres.

LCNHS holds 3rd Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill

Lucena City National High School (LCNHS) ¬held their 3rd Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill, at LCNHS, Thursday, September 7.

The said activity was led by LCNHS Nationa Disaster Risk Reduction Management and Council (NDRRMC) Coordinators Mr. Ronnel Bautista for Junior High School and Ms. Kaye Celle Pardines for Senior High School with the assistance of LCNHS SSLG Officers.

Students and teachers from grade 7 to grade 12 participated in the earthquake drill.

In addition, a floor plan was provided for the smooth flow of the activity, dividing the students into the field and the parking lot. Classroom presidents were also oriented prior to the event to assist their classmates during the drill.

SSLG pledges commitment

Lucena City National High School's (LCNHS) Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) held their oath taking ceremony to formalized their term as officers for school year 2023-2024, August 29.

Mr. Rodolfo A. Sena Jr., principal of LCNHS, led the oath taking of SSLG officers, said officers are; President, Mhike Noria, Vice President, Chris Noel Romero, Secretary, Quin Povie Gutierrez, Treasurer, Mark Joseph Dudas, Auditor, Charethe Limbo, Public Information Officer, Chris Cortez, Protocol Officer, Melca Mae Mortalla, then the year level representatives, Grade 8, Lanz Ivan Danganan and John Joseph Belda, Grade 9, Angelica Biado and Nicole Purisima, Grade 10 , Rikz Noah Pondimera and Daniela Ellares, Grade 11 Maionah Danlorh Lozano and Mariel Cuento, and Grade 12, John Bryan Hecita and Trisha Mae Tolentino.

Furthermore, SSLG already partake several school activities prior to their oath taking which included the Brigada Eskwela and the National Learning Camp, while they currently assist the school for smooth week of the start of school year.

Sama-samang sinalubong ng mga mag-aaral kasama ng mga g**o at principal na si G. Rodolfo A. Sena, ang opisyal na pagbubukas ng klase sa paaralang Lucena City National High School (LCNHS) kanina lamang umaga, araw ng Martes, ika-29 ng Agosto taong 2023.

Maaga palang ay dagsa na ang mga mag-aaral na makikita sa ibat-ibang bahagi sa loob ng paaralan, na abala sa paghahanap ng kani kanilang bagong silid-aralan at g**ong tagapayo.

Samantala, malugod namang pinangunahan ng LCNHS Guidance Counselors na sina Bb. Sarah Catrina D. Portez ng Senior High School at Gng. Shane S. Leynes ng Junior High School ang Guidance Orientation na kung saan ipinaliwanag nila rito ang mga rules and regulations ng nasabing paaralan, kasama na din ang Gender and Development Equality at serbisyo na ibinibigay ng guidance office, nang sa gayon ay mas mapagtibay ang kaligtasan at disiplina ng bawat isa.

Kaugnay nito, nagbigay naman ng saloobin ang isang SHS student tungkol sa unang araw ng pasukan. "Masasabi kong masaya dahil nasubok agad ang aking public speaking skills sa naganap na introduce yourself sa aming klase, marami akong nakilalang kaklase at nasubok rin ang aking leadership skills sa naganap na group activity sa loob ng aming silid aralan." Aniya Shawn Mickel Gasparin.

Sa huli, matagumpay ang naging opisyal na pagbubukas ng taong panuruan na masisig**o ng mga Ka-City high na ang tagumpay na ito ay bitbit nila hanggang sa pagtatapos.

LCNHS conducts awards and recognition for NLC Consolidation Camp

Lucena City National High School (LCNHS) led the recognition for Consolidation Camp through a culminating activity of National Learning Camp (NLC) at LCNHS Conference Room, Thursday, August 24.

Grade 7 and 8 teachers, Mrs. Yolanda Remo, Mr Moces Arenas, Mrs. Josephine Pabellano, Mrs. Mary Anne V. Hernandez, Mrs. Ruth Ann Tuprio and Mrs. Rocel Arenas supervised the awarding of certificates of recognition and completion to the campers of Grade 7 and 8 learners.

"I've realized how professional teachers are. I didn't regret attending the NLC here in LCNHS because I really did gain a lot of knowledge," said Rofeena Eunice Aldovino, one of the learners.

In addition, the closing of NLC will give way to the preparation and opening of classes on August 29.

LCNHS conducts Culminating Activity for NLC Enhancement

Lucena City National High School (LCNHS) conducted awards and recognition through culminating activity for National Learning Camp (NLC) Enhancement at LCNHS Conference Room, Tuesday, August 15.

“The National Learning Camp is a transformative educational experience that empowers students to become lifelong learners, critical thinkers, effective communicators, and compassionate leaders. The camp's diverse curriculum and immersive activities leave an enduring impact, shaping participants into well-rounded individuals who are pois to excel academically, socially, and personally.” said, Mrs. Rosalinda Caalaman, when asked about the performance of the learners during their learning camp.

Moreover, Dr. Michael J. Medina, Master Teacher I of Science Department led the awarding of certificates of completion and recognition to the campers of Grade 7 and 8 levels.

"My experience in this NLC Journey is that, I made friends, had fun with, while increased and broadened my knowledge in English, Science and Mathematics subjects." said Stanley Evangelista, a camper from Grade 8 level.

Furthermore, learners are looking forward for the opening of school year of LCNHS this August 29.

Masigasig na nagpamalas ng husay at talento ang mag-aaral ng Lucena City National High School (LCNHS) sa ginanap na Wall Painting Contest na inorganisa ng City Government of Lucena City, Department of Tourism sa Pleasantville Subdivision, Brgy. 2, Lucena City, Ika-15 ng Agosto.

Kaugnay nito, dalawang grupo ng mag-aaral ng LCNHS ang lumahok sa nasabing aktibidad kabilang sina Rikz Noah Pondimera, Lymber Mangampo, at Charmee Mae Japor sa unang grupo at sina John Mark Landicho, Quert Russel Lalisan, Keilah Sadia, Raven Pulvida Navales at Cyriz Japor naman para sa pangalawang grupo.

"First time ko lamang makasali sa wall painting contest. Na-pressure dahil ako ang pinakabata sa kompetisyon pero it worked naman dahil sa teamwork namin and creativity." aniya Rikz Noah Pondimera.

LCNHS kicks-off Brigada Eskwela 2023

Lucena City National High School (LCNHS) Brigada Eskwela 2023 commenced with the theme "Bayanihan para sa Matatag na Paaralan, Tara na, Mag Brigada na Tayo!", at LCNHS covered court, August 12.

Mr. Rodolfo A. Sena Jr. , school principal, led the event, as he welcomed and expressed his gratefulness to the internal and external stakeholders, as well as to the Brigada Eskwela Coordinator, Mrs. Carolina L. Antenor with the presence of Doc Anicia J. Villaruel, EPS I supervisor.

Union bank signed their partnership to school, as they also donated 6 televisions and four electric fans that can be used by the learners for this school year.

LCNHS teaching and non-teaching staff joined force for the opening of Brigada Eskwela, while LCNHS pride, Hale Marching Band and Pasinlaw Dance troupe performed and showcased their talents as well.

Additionally, Bureau of Jail and Penology Quezon, School Parent-Teacher Association, Alumni Officers, TM brothers, Theatron Artis, The Ricefield/Ang Palayan, Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) officers, and other stakeholders performed and volunteered for the preparation and readiness for the opening of this school year.

Furthermore, LCNHS Brigada Eskwela will set to end on August 19, Saturday.

Enrollment for Grade 7, 11 and transferee is on going from 8am-5pm (Monday-Friday) at Soliman building.

For enrollees (Parents and learners) please bring pen, photocopy of birth certificate and original copy of card.

Learners must be present for the issuance of ID.

Note: Grade 8, 9, 10 and 12 learners are no longer required to enroll, if they previously enrolled at LCNHS, as they are automatically enrolled-- announcement of their section and names will be posted on their designated classrooms on or before the opening of class on August 29, 2023.

Abadilla seizes 3rd spot on Regional Storybook Writing Competition

Grade 10 coordinator and English teacher of Lucena City National High School, Mr. Mark Angelo Abadilla won 3rd place at the recently concluded 2022 Regional Storybook Competition with the theme: "Parangal: Kwento ng Bayan ko!", August 1.

Department of Education Region IV-A CALABARZON conducted the competition through the Curriculum and Learning Management Division, wherein, Abadilla secured 3rd place in Category 1, Grade 4 - Storybook for Young Readers with his piece entitled "Paglaki Ko, Gusto Kong Maging Astronaut"

In addition, Abadilla was also chosen, as one of the finalists for National Awardee of the same competition.

Halina’t maki-jamming sa masayang palaro, tugtugan, sayawan, at sama-sama nating balikan ang nakaraan kasama ang na-miss nating mga g**o at kaklase.

Kung hindi nakapagregister sa google forms huwag mag-alala dahil pwede ka pa rin magparegister sa mismong araw ng ating pasinaya. Ito ay bukas sa lahat ng alumni ng ating paaralan.

Para sa mga hindi naman nakapag order ng alumni t-shirt, magsuot na lang casual attire.

Grade 10 student grabs silver at 2nd Congressional District Oratorical Competition

Grade 10 student of Lucena City National High Schoool secured the 2nd spot at the 2nd Congressional District Oratorical Competition at Lutucan Central Elementary School West District, Sariaya, Quezon, July 25.

Junior High School grade 10 student Arvinel I. Villegaño won the Oratorical and Declamation Contest under the supervision of MT I, English, Mrs. Yolanda A. Remo with the assistance of Ms. Hannah Grace Basilio, former SSG LCNHS president, as he also received cash from the Provincial Tourism Office.

Furthermore, the Provincial Government of Quezon will host the 2023 Niyogyugan Festival, highlights of this year's festival event are the academic competition which will be opened to elementary, highschool, and college student from the public and private schools in Quezon.

Pinagtibay ang nasabing pagtatapos ng mga mag-aaral sa pamamagitan ng presensya ng mga panauhing pandangal ng okasyon na mula sa Schools Division Office of Lucena City sa pangunguna nina Dr. Susan DL. Oribiana, Schools Division Superintendent, G. Phillip Gallendez, OIC Schools Division Superintendent, Gng. Ma. Consolacion Teñido, PSDS East District, Dr. Anicia J. Villaruel, EPS I, G. Erwin Abrencillo, OIC - EPS Science, Gng. Myla Mendiola, EPS Araling Panlipunan, at G. Jaime Lacerna, EPS Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao, na kapwa nakasaksi sa makasaysayang pagtanggap ng mga mag-aaral ng sertipiko ng pagtatapos at medalya kasama ang kani-kanilang mga magulang.

Samantala, muling sinariwa ng mga panauhing tagapagsalita ng okasyon na sina Gng. Shiela Marie Villamarzo-Lising, Gintong Ani mula sa taong panuruang 2008 - 2009, at G. Omar O. Mangalleno, Gintong Ani mula sa taong panuruang 2018 - 2019, ang kani-kanilang mga pinagdaanan bago makamit ang tagumpay sa piniling propesyon. Mula rito, nagbigay ng inspirasyon sa lahat na patuloy na pag-ibayuhin ang dedikasyon at sipag sa lahat ng pagkakataon.

LCNHS Recognizes Grade 10 Learners

Lucena City National High School (LCNHS) recognized Grade 10 learners in moving up ceremony with the theme: K to 12 Graduates Molded Through Resilient Educational Foundation, Thursday, July 13.

832 learners received medals and certificates for their skills and academic excellence in different fields, they were awarded by the Principal III of LCNHS, Mr. Rodolfo Sena Jr., together with Education Program Supervisor (EPS) I- Special Education, Dr. Rowela Caperiña, EPS I-MAPEH Mr. Joey Jader, EPS I English- Dr. Lanie Malabonga, EPS I- Science Dr. Erwin Abrencillo and officers of the School Parent-Teacher Association.

Certified Public Accountant, Ms. Maureen Ava Lahat Lazaro and Atty. Charmelaine Aguilar Lahat, Gintong Ani of Batch 2002-2003, 2004-2005 shared and inspired the learners, "Never give up on your dreams whatever obstacles and challenges may come through." added Ms. Lazaro.

Sena, punongg**o ng paaralan, mga g**o at kinatawan ng pamunuan ng School Parent - Teacher Association (SPTA) ang 180 na mag-aaral ng ikapitong baitang, 246 na mag-aaral mula sa ikawalong baitang, 258 na mag-aaral sa ikasiyam na baitang, at 193 na mag-aaral naman sa ikalabing-isang baitang na kapwa nagpamalas ng galing at husay sa akademiko at iba pang mga larangan.

Samantala, malugod na tinanggap ng mga mag-aaral ang mga parangal kasama ang kani-kanilang mga magulang na may ngiti na tanda ng kanilang hindi matatawarang dedikasyon na ipinakita sa buong taon na nagresulta sa isang pagpupunyagi.
