Story Time | 02142025

I thought today would be just another ordinary day. But life has a way of reminding us how love can surprise us in the simplest moments.

I had a conversation with someone who has been married for 38 years.

Thirty-eight years is no joke. She told me, "Maraming sakripisyo at paninindigan."

Because I’m curious, I asked, "How did you decide to get married?"

She said, "Mipanyaman ing kwentuhan." (The conversation was good.)

That’s it? A single conversation? 🤔

But then I realized… Maybe that moment wasn’t just about words.

Maybe it was about feeling truly heard. Understood. Seen.

And as I learned their story, I couldn’t help but feel that even after 38 years it was as if they were still their younger selves, still deeply in love, still choosing each other every day.

Maybe that’s how love lasts. A single moment. A simple conversation. A lifetime of choosing each other. ❤️

Then I realized, a love story will always be a story. ❤️

Reading this reminded me that these kiddos gave me the courage to embrace being Kiddo (hanggang ngayon).

They’re my safe space, the ones who proved it’s okay to be me. ✨

It's been a while since I last wrote my stories in a notebook. I usually do it through SBTS, but later this year, my friends gave me a blank notebook.

A blank notebook where everything started.

I've been wondering whether to use it for my stories...

But earlier, I thought about writing again... to preserve memories and emotions. 🤍

So, I bought my favorite G-Tec pen.

As I was about to start writing, I saw this message. 🥺

My thoughts? 💭
