The National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA) played a leading role in the Joint Regional Consultation for Soccsksargen and Northern Mindanao, held on September 2-3, 2024, at Family Country Hotel, General Santos City. The consultation, part of the ongoing enhancement of the 4th Philippine Human Rights Action Plan (PHRP), was led by the Presidential Human Rights Committee Secretariat (PHRCS).

NCDA led the discussion on Chapter 5, focused on the inclusion of persons with disabilities, with Atty. Rhealeth Krizelle D. Ramos and Mx. JM Ortega addressing feedback from civil society and regional PDAO representatives.
