SUPER LATE POST AHEAD!

The Sangguniang Kabataan Iloilo Provincial Congress 2024

With the theme “𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞,” the SK Federation ILoilo Province successfully organized the Provincial Congress last two months, July 7-9, 2024, at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, NCR.

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟏: 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫
The Iloilo Province delegates are able to visit the iconic sites of Philippine history, such as Intramuros, Manila Cathedral, and Luneta Park.

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐: 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐬
In the morning program, it started with inspiring opening remarks from the PPSK Iloilo Provincial President, Hon. Esara A. Javier, and a special message from Pasay City Mayor, Hon. Imelda Calixto-Rubiano. Distinguished Philippine Senators, including Hon. Alan Peter Cayetano, Hon. B**g Go, and a virtual message from Hon. Loren Legarda shared their insights. Iloilo Provincial Governor Arthur "Toto" Defensor Jr. also addressed the Ilonggo leaders, along with other Ilonggo politicians and guests.

In the afternoon, various speakers shared their insights too into significant topics, including drafting ordinances and resolutions, values-centered leadership, and crafting ABYIP and LYDP. The day concluded with a fellowship night, uniting the SK officials from different municipalities in the Province of Iloilo.

The Congress served as a platform for exchanging innovative ideas, fostering leadership skills, and building stronger communities for a brighter future. Together, they have made a positive impact and paved the way for sustainable progress.

Indeed, the SK Federation Iloilo Province Provincial Congress brought together dynamic leaders and dedicated public servants. With the guidance of our SKMF President, Hon. Trexie Jan Villacastin and LYDO Officer, Miss Richel Calfoforo.

Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. Oluangan, Leon attending and completing the 3 days 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜-𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙥 𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙆 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝘼𝙇𝙂𝘼𝙄

Through this, they showed their 𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙝𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙖𝙨𝙢 and drove for 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚, so we could entrust them with achieving our purpose with utmost sincerity as they learned 𝙘𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙖𝙨, 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩-𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙤𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙪𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨, and 𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 at their seminars.

Our 𝙙𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣, 𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙧, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙪𝙙𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙧 invested their time and effort to establish a strong foundation for the betterment of our SK Organization.
