One of the most picturesque roadsides in the Philippines can be found in Legazpi City. In the north of the Legazpi Boulevard, the spectacular look of the Mayon Volcano and the Katipunan Hill connects the beauty of nature to the said road. The Albay Gulf and its islands being in the east of the boulevard add more splendour to the coastal road network. As it extends from the city’s central business district and port area to the southern barangays, it showcases the mountains of Sorsogon being in the south.
Aside from sightseeing there are a lot more to do and see in the Legazpi Boulevard.
An option may be checking out the landmarks that are around the area. The statue of Miguel Lopez de Legazpi (the Spanish conquistador whom the city is named after), the JCI Legazpi Tourism marker and the Freemason obelisk complete the list of the landmarks found along the boulevard.
It can also be a perfect place to start enjoying getting fit. Stretching almost three kilometres, the said road has become perfect for various fitness activities such as jogging, running, walking, biking and even dancing zumba. There are also shops offering Jet Ski rentals for those who are looking for a more adventurous kind of activities. Other sporting events are also held in the waterfront area which enables those who are interested to join and watch.
It also magnets those who wants to dine and enjoy the view. The boulevard is packed with several restaurants and cafes which will suit whatever the taste bud is craving for.
Those who want to practice their talent in photography can enhance their potentials in this place. The said setting allows beginner photographers to not only look at divine magnificence but also to see various angles that would help shape society.
