Starting with a solemn Mass attended by students, teachers, and staff, the celebration continued on the next day, February 1, with the Family Day highlighting the unity and spirit of the LEGASCI community.

This event underscores the ongoing impact of Legazpi City Science High School in shaping the future of its students, guiding them toward academic excellence and proclaiming their brighter days. As the school looks back on its legacy over the past nine years, let us look forward to continuing its mission of empowering its mighty warriors and preparing them for the challenges and opportunities ahead.

๐—Ÿ๐—ข๐—ข๐—ž: On Tuesday, the Legazpi City Science High School welcomed its new OIC-Assistant Principal, Analyn Lea Neptuno with an Installation Ceremony.

The program started with PSDS-District 9 Erma Theresa Tabuena with the opening remarks, followed by Schools Division Superintendent Danilo Despi spearheading the Oath Taking, and LEGASCI's School Head Eleanor Garcia introducing the new Assistant Principal to the faculty and students.

Neptuno then took center stage as she delivered her message of acceptance. The ceremony went on with messages from Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, Lauro Millano and SDS Despi, followed by the SPTA President, Almeda Bartolini and Faculty President, Nico Santillan's messages of support.

With a performance from The Argentum Chorale, the event concluded with Head Teacher III and outgoing Assistant Principal Ruby-Ann Buitre's closing remarks.

๐—Ÿ๐—ข๐—ข๐—ž: To celebrate the ever-glistening holiday season, the Legazpi City Science High School's Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), spearheaded Paskuhan 2024 en masse the Ceremonial Pag-Iilaw on Wednesday, December 18.

With Citinistas graced in Red, Green, and Yellow, the event then went on with Intermission numbers and games before proceeding with the Pag-Iilaw which debuts in this year's Paskuhan.

Together with the varying parols of radiant colors, the Pag-Iilaw was accompanied by the singing of classic Christmas songs; Star ng Pasko, Silent Night, Angels We Have Heard on High, and The First Noel.

๐—Ÿ๐—ข๐—ข๐—ž: Following a five-year hiatus, the much-awaited LEGASCI Intramurals 2024 kicked off last November 22-23. This year, the Green Crocs, Yellow Dragons, Red Scorpions, Blue Marlins, Maroon Wildcats, and Gray Wolves, put their best foot forward and showcased their skills in 20 sport events. Accompanied by varying club booths and a food bazaar hosted by the Grade 12 students.

On November 21, the search for Mr. and Ms. Intrams culminated with Maroon Wildcats' Eomer Lester Sta. Ana crowned Mr. Intrams and Red Scorpions' Alexa Rae Mayor as Ms. Intrams. The official start of the event officially commenced on November 22, which began with the lighting of the Torch of Friendship and the Oath of Amateurism.

The Maroon Wildcats defended their title as champions with a blazing score of ๐Ÿ–๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ‘ points. The Gray Wolves garnered ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ points and the Blue Marlins scored ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“ points, securing the first and second runner-up titles respectively. A victory party on the evening of November 23 signified the closing of the event, in which the wins and victories were celebrated along with the memories that will continue to triumph.

๐—Ÿ๐—ข๐—ข๐—ž: After two decades of championing student journalism, The Webbytes, the official English school publication of Legazpi City Science High School, marked a significant milestone with its debut participation in Tiripon, the annual school club reorganization held on November 8, 2024. This yearโ€™s event, held at the schoolโ€™s covered court, not only showcased the publicationโ€™s legacy but also set the stage for future aspirants.

The booth featured interactive highlights such as the Opinion Board, where students were invited to share their thoughts on pressing societal issues, the Teleprompter Challenge spearheaded by the TV Broadcasting team which allowed participants to experience the thrill of live reporting, together with a huge Newspaper-Style Photo Booth. These activities inspired budding journalists and creatives while serving as a platform to recruit new talents, including five promising layout artists.

Led by the Editor-in-Chief, Erika Campantero and the Radio Broadcasting Head, Krisha Espinas, the project was a testament to teamwork, resourcefulness, and passion as The Webbytesโ€™ booth bagged the "Innovation and Creativity Awardโ€ in the aforementioned program.

* Download and print the parent's permit (to be brought on the day of screening). Then, fill out the pre-registration form using the link provided in the QR codes.
* For ๐˜ธ๐˜ณ๐˜ช๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜จ events, participants will only need a pen or pencil. Bond papers will be provided by the facilitators.
* For individuals interested in ๐˜—๐˜ฉ๐˜ฐ๐˜ต๐˜ฐ๐˜ซ๐˜ฐ๐˜ถ๐˜ณ๐˜ฏ๐˜ข๐˜ญ๐˜ช๐˜ด๐˜ฎ, the applicant must bring a point-and-shoot camera with a maximum of 24.3 ๐™ข๐™š๐™œ๐™–๐™ฅ๐™ž๐™ญ๐™š๐™ก๐™จ and a ๐™›๐™ž๐™ญ๐™š๐™™ ๐™ก๐™š๐™ฃ๐™จ or DSLR camera with a zoom lens that will not exceed 105mm. Participants are also required to bring a laptop for photo layout.
